People of Sleuthville, lend me your ears!
I call out now to all you tomb-raiders and treasure seekers! To those who love the thrill of a good treasure hunt!

In the spirit of friendly competition i propose a challenge.
This challenge will require 10 adventurous detectives to be split onto 2 Teams, each team consisting of 5 members, in 2 newly made Agencies of my own making in NY.

These two agencies will compete against each other in Treasure Hunts.
The first team to get their agency to 7,000 Fame wins:

$200,000 Prize to be split among the team evenly.
(Working out to $40,000 a piece for each teammate...not too shabby huh?)
Also each team after the contest ends will vote amongst themselves on who alone among their team was MVP (someone who went above and beyond, did a really excellent job, etc) The MVP's from Both teams will win a 3 month gift subscription from me personally.
You also win bragging rights and honor for your home agencies on being an awesome treasure hunter.
Whether your team chooses single or multi-city hunt strategy is entirely up to you.

Obviously this competition will run for a while, (I'm venturing a guess at anywhere between 2 weeks to a month depending on how luck smiles on you or how good you and your teammates are).

It goes without saying that you would be required to resign temporarily from whatever agency you are currently in to join my competing agencies for the contest. You are allowed to enter an alternate detective if you wish if you're too attached to have your main detective leave your agency, and the only rules are:

1) Absolutely NO Password Sharing.
2) Only one entry per contestant
3) Have fun.

I want to know who among you treasure hunters really has what it takes to come together and co-ordinate as a team to truly be the best.

(Cont'd)

Biggie, you mean sleuthbot right?

And yes, Al Q are animals during regular hours to SMRT.

Don't worry, we won't hold a grudge. We know what to expect as we move forward.

Beefy I love ya. Please don't take this as a personal affront, but I'm starting to think you're not kidding about this so let me clarify.

In this thread, when the contest was being planned, it was decided by a consensus that since there's no way to prevent agencies from hunting, it would be a good "chaos" factor getting in the way of either agency just hunting by itself. So when everyone entered the contest, it was with full disclosure that that was something no one could control.

Further, when we left SMRT, several of us posted on the message board that anyone was welcome to hunt while we were gone, even if it would be hard with half the agency missing.

Now, specifically to THIS case, I want to be clear. Not that there needs to be an excuse, because Al-Q and the 10-11 other detectives besides Ms Helen/Sleuthbot have EVERY RIGHT to hunt in any treasure hunt they feel like, same as any other agency does, but this hunt was opened by Al Q before it was opened by the Raiders. The fact that you lost the hunt to them isn't because of shady business, or because we're trying to screw you guys over, but because THEY STARTED AND FINISHED THE HUNT BEFORE YOU.

The fact that 90% of the people playing in this competition are teammates and friends I would think would prevent this kind of BS from being spread. Apparently I would be wrong.

I welcome ANY and ALL agencies to go up against the Crusaders in any of our hunts, and when you win, we'll be pissed that we lost but not because we're accusing anyone of bad behavior, cheating or anything related. But because we got beat by an agency who got the favors they needed to win the hunt before we did.

Sheesh.

Biggie.

First of all, you are taking it more seriously than anyone else on this board. You're definitely taking it more seriously than me who told you in barchat that I knew you'd play legitimately dirty. You know I lolled and all which I suppose wasn't enough for you to let it die down? I mean you have had a conversation with me in there only to post this today as a response to Beef?

I would see your point if I thought winning a contest in Sleuth made us Einsteins or something.

But it won't, see? So you can't go around saying you're being accused of bad behavior when all you did was rock hard.

Obviously we have different views of this, which is something you probably cannot appreciate. So what if any of us differs about that? Do we have to be kidding all the time? I really don't get this.

I don't know what makes you guys' having talked about it earlier on the thread a consensus, I don't care to know either. It's not even important. I mean the bit about the consensus is not why I am posting this. It's your assumption that people care about a damn game so much that all they could accuse you of things because they are losing the game.

Please don't say it's ok if we're kidding after saying all that serious stuff on board.

And fyi, if any of us considered that a strategy, we'd be doing favors using our alts in Delhi and elsewhere.

So please have respect for people when they beg to differ.
