People of Sleuthville, lend me your ears!
I call out now to all you tomb-raiders and treasure seekers! To those who love the thrill of a good treasure hunt!

In the spirit of friendly competition i propose a challenge.
This challenge will require 10 adventurous detectives to be split onto 2 Teams, each team consisting of 5 members, in 2 newly made Agencies of my own making in NY.

These two agencies will compete against each other in Treasure Hunts.
The first team to get their agency to 7,000 Fame wins:

$200,000 Prize to be split among the team evenly.
(Working out to $40,000 a piece for each teammate...not too shabby huh?)
Also each team after the contest ends will vote amongst themselves on who alone among their team was MVP (someone who went above and beyond, did a really excellent job, etc) The MVP's from Both teams will win a 3 month gift subscription from me personally.
You also win bragging rights and honor for your home agencies on being an awesome treasure hunter.
Whether your team chooses single or multi-city hunt strategy is entirely up to you.

Obviously this competition will run for a while, (I'm venturing a guess at anywhere between 2 weeks to a month depending on how luck smiles on you or how good you and your teammates are).

It goes without saying that you would be required to resign temporarily from whatever agency you are currently in to join my competing agencies for the contest. You are allowed to enter an alternate detective if you wish if you're too attached to have your main detective leave your agency, and the only rules are:

1) Absolutely NO Password Sharing.
2) Only one entry per contestant
3) Have fun.

I want to know who among you treasure hunters really has what it takes to come together and co-ordinate as a team to truly be the best.

The more the merrier Eden :) and VS i was thinking of the fame limit being at 25,000 Fame, i think that might be a good limit that should be a good (but not too difficult challenge) for this contest....But if anyone else (specifically those competing) feel it should be higher or lower i am completely open for suggestions, the most important thing about this whole plan is for everyone to meet and mingle in the community and have fun!

Also i dont think this should be necessary to state but just to cover myself here, the reward of $480,000 to the winning agency is in Sleuth game dollars....if i had that kind of real life money i wouldn't bother with a day job :P
I will be spending real life money on the 3 month gift sub to both teams MVP's however. Again Im not sure its needed, but a good disclaimer never hurts. :)

Oh wait. Yes I'd love to do this but as long as it isn't in August--I'm crazy busy that month with work and can't be relied on to be on daily. So sign me up with an option to withdraw once I see the dates.

I think 25K is an excellent number to shoot for. 50K would be stretching it.

Oh and as for the "gentlemen's agreement"--I don't think it's necessary. We can't ask other agencies to stop hunting because of a contest, and I think it adds a nice chaotic element to the competition.

I'll pop my name down but it will be with an alt. I'll also say that if the teams get full and someone else wants to join or the teams are uneven, I'll step aside :)

Personally I don't think I want to see the fame limit being set any higher than 25,000 fame, but others may feel differently of course.

Ara i WAS going to host this contest this after molly's beauty pageant but im not 100% sure on that anymore, Ill get in touch with Molly and see whats going on there, it will most likely be after but again im not 100% on that. Ill definitely PM you and let you know the timing of it all if you'd like. I'll do my best to be accommodating. :)

And unless i get some feedback saying 25k fame isn't enough or is too much im sticking with it.

Jason I had a change of heart, I was anxious to not lose a slot but I see that, contrary to what I had initially thought -and I should've read the board carefully- no one from my agency's participating.

Awww......are you sure? Any member of the crypt is welcome to join. Since there is still plenty of room there's no rush, i hope at least one of you reconsiders it'd be cool to have 'delegates' - so to speak from all kinds of different agencies. A few of my fellow zombies are in, it would be a shame to complete the undead aspect by having my contest minus a few Vampires. You're free to withdraw but i sincerely hope you and your agency mates you are more the welcome and highly encouraged to join. :)
