Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

Ms Helen has chosen to give the STRONG LEADER ability to Molly Maltese. Molly may use this any time prior to a leader posting their mission proposal to steal the leadership away from them.

Ms Helen has chosen to give Biggie the NO CONFIDENCE ability.

Ms Helen has decided to keep the TAKE RESPONSIBILITY card which means she may steal any card out there that is still in play. Right now the only unused abilities are Marc's NO CONFIDENCE and the two cards she just handed out. Ms Helen please tell me which card you would like to take.

You are then free to post your mission proposal.

Also so I don't hold things up any longer I propose the following group of people

Ms Helen
Illicit
Biggie
Molly
Marc

Honestly given my mindset right now that's the best I can do. Quite sure someone will be along to tell me how shockingly bad that team is but we have so little info to go on that these people are least likely to be spies in my opinion. For those that ask. I didn't put Riza on the team because I think she has been 'too' quiet. Certainly the other spies haven't needed to say anything because of Serges and Eden. The post that Riza did make just seems too thought out if that makes sense. Jason seems hit and miss and I'm not sure what to make of him. I was contemplating having Cek on the team because he seems to be consistant so it was a coin toss between him and marc so to speak

Ms Helen gave NO CONFIDENCE to Biggie. A VERY powerful card, if it's in a spy's hands during the 5th mission. According to her, the best way to determine who gets this make-or-break card?
"I've been doing eeny meeny minee mo on Cek, Illicit and Biggie for the no confidence card, not very technical I know

I give 'NO CONFIDENCE' to Biggie again I'm praying that Biggie is Resistance."
I'm glad she gave STRONG LEADER to Molly, but since she kept TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for herself, there's a good chance she'll just take it away from her since 2 spies already hold the 2 NO CONFIDENCE cards left.

Now, onto the team...
There are THREE spies on it. Ms Helen is hoping this mission will get approved, because then the spies are guaranteed to win. Helen, Biggie, Marc, and Jason are all going to vote YES for it, which means they only need 2 more votes to make it pass.
I'm voting no, and I assume Eden, knowing the same info I know, will do so as well. We need THREE more "no"s to avoid losing right here and now.
So, 3 of the following Resistance members need to reject this mission:
Illicit, Molly, Cekuray, and Riza.
I'm confident Riza will vote no, since she IDed all 4 spies even before I was able to. Illicit, I hope, will vote no as well, considering I confirmed her identity as Resistance.
That really leaves Molly and Cekuray as the swing votes. Molly is on the team, and has declared that she supports Biggie, so sadly I'm afraid she'll make the mistake of voting YES. And, it would make sense from her perspective, since she knows she's Resistance and is on the team.
Cekuray, you NEED to vote no or the spies WILL win. I could take up pages explaining why, but it all boils down to that. 6 YES votes here mean the spies win the game. You're not on this team, and you're Resistance. What are the odds that the 4 spies are me, Eden, Jason, and Riza? Those are the ONLY set of spies that would let this mission succeed. Cekuray, I implore you to do the right thing and vote "NO".

"Jason seems hit and miss and I'm not sure what to make of him."--Ms Helen

He KNOWINGLY put someone who accused him of being a spy on his mission proposal in Mission 3! Eden saw his allegiance and said he was a spy. If someone looks at your allegiance, and calls you a spy when you're not one, then you know that THEY are a spy. A resistance player putting a known spy on a team is ludicrous, and Jason just isn't that daft. Jason MUST be a spy. The only reason you'd be "unsure" of his allegiance is if you didn't WANT to draw attention to the fact that he MUST be a spy. And the only reason you wouldn't want to do that is if YOU were a spy as well.

Last post before bedtime, I promise.

Taking "STRONG LEADER" out of consideration for a second, here are the leaders in order:
Ms Helen (spy)
Riza (resistance)
me (resistance)
Eden (resistance)
Jason (spy)

The spies have 2 NO CONFIDENCEs to work with, so they have the upper hand here. Helen puts up a bad mission, which we NEED to reject to have a chance. Then, they just need to force a rejected mission on one of the next three proposals, since they can NO CONFIDENCE the other 2. Then, it's on to Jason, and if it gets THERE, it's game over.

Now, the STRONG LEADER changes things a bit, since Molly can cause a change in the leadership order after this proposal. Starting at Molly, the leaders would be
Molly (resistance)
Illicit (resistance)
M. Lacrimosa (spy)
Ms Helen (spy)
So, Molly, PLEASE don't use STRONG LEADER immediately after this proposal. If you do, then the spies NO CONFIDENCE yours and Illicit's proposals, and then the spies win. If you use it at all, use it at some point after Riza's proposal.

Now, Helen could take that power, and if she does, shes going to be able to propose 2 bad teams. But, that means that Jason can't propose a team at the end, and she'd be the only spy with leadership in this round. I don't think she'll do it, but there is one strategy I can envision where she might. Instead, I'd wager she takes the NO CONFIDENCE card from either Marc or Biggie, since that doesn't change the spy's power hold.

Ms Helen has made her mission proposal.

Mission 5, Team 1

Team Leader: Ms Helen
Team Proposal: Ms Helen, Illicit, biggie, M. Lacrimosa, Molly Maltese

It is now again time for the rest of the team to vote to either approve or reject this mission proposal.

Because both Cekuray and Ms Helen have the OPINION MAKER, they must post their votes here on the message board, as opposed to PMing me. You may wait to vote until these are posted.

When you do vote, please send me a PM stating "Mission 5, Team 1: YES or NO"

Because I am Resistance and everybody knows it by now I cannot in this whole world vote YES for this mission which does not include my name. I am sure Jason is a spy. I really think Ms. Helen is one too. The problem now goes to Biggie versus Serges/Eden. The guys outed themselves out from the begining, which seemed suspicious that time to me. Biggie is voting 100 percent YES for a mission which she knows for sure doesn't include all Resistance players in it, but includes Ms. Helen, almost a proven spy. I want to re-read the whole thing and take notes as nicnic probably did last time. So, for this mission, NO!

Cek, we don't even know that YOURE not a spy.

I don't think Ms Helen is a spy. If we assume Serges and Eden have been lying, then she almost definitely ISN'T a spy.

I'm 95% sure there are no spies on this proposed team. Which is why I'm voting yes.
