Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

I have never commented on how smart you are; I said I didn't take you seriously when you tried to fool people with the "stupid and innocent" card. You are trying to digress from the main point by demagogy.

Biggie you tried to stay unidentified. That's the reason you voted "succeed" before. If you think I'm going to give up repeating that, you are wrong :)

We would win the game already if Serges and I were spies: But we'd have to get others on team to stay unknown.

I hope you can answer that one day (two spies deliberately in a game since mission 1 ). I said the same thing days ago, you said I was right because it was too logical an argument to be defetated and now that you think it's all over and people have forgotten it, you try to avoid it and keep accusing us being spies because you know you have no show to put up anymore other than this little bit of social engineering you've been up to :)

2 saboteurs, exactly just when marc and you were in the same team and not before, when Serges and I and Illicit were in it multiple times.

lol biggie a normal person is capable of what I am doing: thinking as if they were in others' shoes. That's cheap now, lol.

She actually said tha I was a spy because I mentioned what a spy could do at the beginning of a game. lol

"We would win the game already if Serges and I were spies: But we'd have to get others on team to stay unknown."

No you wouldn't, because you would have given yourself away before. By continually trying to solidify your position as resistance, you gave yourself the cover needed to blow two missions in a row. You're just praying everyone believes you.

I DID say you were right, in the beginning, because that's exactly what you guys wanted me to think. And as I've said, all the way up to this mission, I believed you. And that makes me naive.

Well, I don't believe you now. As soon as nic sends me the card, I will KNOW for sure. And its already pretty obvious that out of all the people on that team, for two to blow it, either me and Marc or you and Serges have to be spies. And since I KNOW I'm not, it means by default that you guys must be. And that's not even factoring the blatant lie told by Serges.

Saying I'm responsible for social engineering is giving me a TON of credit I don't deserve.

As I suspected, I just received Serges' vote and it was for SABOTAGE.

Your plans have been foiled, my friends :p

That is absolutely ridiculous.

If we were spies, there's no way we would be able to know that neither of us would sabotage it in the 1st mission - do you imply that we PM one another?

And there's no way that we could make sure only one of us would sabotage it in the 2nd mission.

I said this a 1000 times and I am going to say this once again : Unless you are saying that we are PM'in one another what you say isn't possible, is actually ridiculous, and is not smart.

I don't go around gambling, thinking people will do what I want them to do just because I'll try to make them do it using mind games.

If I were spy, I2d have nothing to lose and I'd do it. But I am not. So I have always emphasized reasons, and relevance to it all while you tried to downplay it.

Spies do not believe, Biggie. Belief has nothing to do in their equation. They counteract.

WE KNOW we aren't. And I'm telling people: The proof is our deliberately being on the same team. We wouldn't risk identification by two sabotages!

But Biggie and Marc had a little dialogue with one another on this board pulling a farce which I never believed: That's HOW they communicated.

Its actually NOT impossible. For proof, I suggest you look at the last Resistance game. Illicit and Jason were both on the same team, both voted to succeed to avoid detection, and one voted to sabotage on another one while the other didn't, ALL without communicating outside the game.

I know this, because I talk to both of them a lot and trust them that they wouldn't cheat.

I'm not accusing anyone of cheating at all here. I'm just saying, its possible. And how do I know one of you wasn't the saboteur on the mission that failed? You two SAID it was Ms Helen, but she's denied it and if you're lying about being spies, you're certainly lying about her being one as well.

Well there is one thing EVERYONE can prove without a doubt.

Biggie and Eden could talk the hind legs off not just one donkey but a whole herd of donkeys :)

All I have to say is...

HOLY SH*T.

But no. I think my stance is revised. Something just didn't sit well about all their showmanning but this last mission, I even said that the move would be way too obvious. Once again we were given the exact people to suspect, outlined thoroughly by Serges and Eden. "If this mission should fail, it will be Marc and Biggie."

Who in their right mind would run that gamut?

And Biggie would be vehement about being scapegoated again. She wouldn't fall into the same pothole twice unless someone pushed her in there.

I definitely have to rethink this. I don't like this at all. And the resistance front provided by serges and eden, its too good to be true.

Call me crazy, and we'll find out at the end of the game, but I'm standing with my bigz on this one.

And now I feel bad for being a dick to Marc when he probably saved our asses by making sure a wild card like bigz had that ability.
