Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

Seems like maybe we were fast in drawing conclusions about Biggie again... If this mission is sabotaged it gets really interesting.

Oh no Cekuray. It'll stay as boring as it is. You know why :).

And it stands to reason that we should hold on to our doubts for a little while longer. You probably noticed that only three spies voted "no" on this mission. Where's the fourth Cek? Molly or Biggie? Riza? (It could be Riza, but I highly doubt that because that strategy only works if spies could tip one one another off at the beginning- otherwise this would be total coincidence)

Now we'll be having 2 spies -most probably-next. We cannot cancel both missions, as that would amount to 5 failed missions.

So, we'll vote no on one of these missions, whereas we'll let the other pass. Which one is it going to be? I say we pass Marc's and fail Helen's for the time being. It all depends on Marc's team proposition.

correction: only 3 spies voted no on the previous mission(had the same team proposal-hence the confusion)

Biggie, you asked for it you know, lol.

If you turn out Resistance, that will make me laugh harder, only. I don't know what Serges and Illicit are thinking about this though.

My thinking is, we've won this round. Biggie posted SUCCESS; she was the wild card in this mission team.

So now, we just have to make sure 2 spies don't make it onto the next mission team. To that end, whoever is next to propose (I don't have the order in front of me) really ought to do with me, Eden, Illicit, Biggie (evidence indicates she's resistance) and someone OTHER than Jason or Ms. Helen.

That leaves 4 people to choose from; Celuray, Riza, M. Lacrimosa, and Molly.

Assuming Biggie is resistance, it doesn't matter who gets on the team with us.

If she's playing a clever spy role though (hard to imagine since the spies really kind of needed to win this mission), there's a 75% chance the person added to the next mission is Resistance. I think we've got this.

Don't pick Celuray from Serges' s post... He is suspicious. Instead, pick Cekuray for mission 4. He doesn't know any other word than SUCCESS. :)
Also, I think this mission will be a 2-1 for Resistance.

The team of OOS operatives received the date and time on the planned hit of the Mother of Innocence Cathedral. Each team member stationed themselves hidden in a dark area of the rectory, with Illict protecting the church safe. They waited for about an hour when they heard the lock being broken on the front door. Biggie was the first to the scene and she grabbed the thug yelling for the others to follow. When the other La Cosa Nostra team members realized they had been busted, they ran off leaving their mate to face the consequences alone. Illicit stepped out of the shadows and pointed her gun at the head of the subdued villain.
"Ripping off a church?" she said, "There is no low you won't stoop to." And with that they hauled the thug off and locked up the rectory behind them.

Mission 3 consisting of a team of Serges, Eden Zweig, biggie528, and Illicit was a SUCCESS.

The team members voted as follows:
biggie528 SUCCESS
???? SUCCESS
???? SUCCESS
???? SUCCESS

M. Lacrimosa is up next to propose the team for Mission 4 and to hand out the special abilities.

Reminder of player order:
Serges
Eden Zweig
Jason Arends
Cekuray
biggie528
Molly Maltese
Illicit
M. Lacrimosa
Ms Helen
Riza Hawkeye

I will write up the mission details and give Marc his abilities in a few minutes.

The Resistance now leads the game 2-1. I should have posted that in my last post.
