Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

@Jason:

Your mission proposal included the person who ACCUSED you of being a spy. If you're clean (which you're not), you would then have to know that Eden was a spy, and therefore should NEVER be on a mission.

And yet, you've proposed a mission with him, and approved missions with him on it.

I would rather believe you to be a backpedaling spy than a naive resistance member. Also, I know Eden is resistance since I saw his card. I trust him when he says he knows you're a spy.

If the mission gets sabotaged then we'll know for sure it's Biggie.

It doesn't matter at this point. But if you think using it will force Biggie to vote succeed, then use it.

I think we could have used it on Ms Helen only to force her to vote yes, then. But at the time, keeping the card seemed the best move. It's always been your call really. All I mean is I agreed that it was the best move.

You're an experienced player, do as you wish.

Ms Helen snuck by me, and I thought keeping it for a future mission would be more valuable.

But, here's what I'm thinking.
There are 3 teams left to use it on, including this one.
Mission 4 needs 2 spies, which is really unlikely to happen since we know 2 spies already. The odds of randomly selecting the other 2 are just too low.
Using it on Mission 5 is pointless, since it's the final mission. Spies will sabotage regardless of whether or not I put them in the spotlight.

I ought to use it here, because it loses its value later. So I will.

I am choosing to put Biggie "IN THE SPOTLIGHT" for this mission.

Serges has chosen to use his IN THE SPOTLIGHT card on biggie, which means she must post her mission action here instead of PMing me.

Seems like maybe we were fast in drawing conclusions about Biggie again... If this mission is sabotaged it gets really interesting.

Oh no Cekuray. It'll stay as boring as it is. You know why :).

And it stands to reason that we should hold on to our doubts for a little while longer. You probably noticed that only three spies voted "no" on this mission. Where's the fourth Cek? Molly or Biggie? Riza? (It could be Riza, but I highly doubt that because that strategy only works if spies could tip one one another off at the beginning- otherwise this would be total coincidence)

Now we'll be having 2 spies -most probably-next. We cannot cancel both missions, as that would amount to 5 failed missions.

So, we'll vote no on one of these missions, whereas we'll let the other pass. Which one is it going to be? I say we pass Marc's and fail Helen's for the time being. It all depends on Marc's team proposition.

correction: only 3 spies voted no on the previous mission(had the same team proposal-hence the confusion)

Biggie, you asked for it you know, lol.

If you turn out Resistance, that will make me laugh harder, only. I don't know what Serges and Illicit are thinking about this though.
