Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

Biggie is a major wild card here, for reasons that have been explained ad nauseum above. But, so is basically anyone else Molly could have put on the team, including herself. (Except Jason and Helen)

I think we need to let this mission pass, if for no better reason than to avoid backing ourselves in a corner with too many rejections in a row.

I still have some power (thanks Eden!), so either the mission will succeed, or we will know that Biggie is a spy. Both are good for the Resistance, because the spies will find it almost impossible to win , even up 2-1, if we have confirmed 3 of them.

My thoughts exactly. Anyone we picked as the fourth would be a wild card, there would be pros and cons "he's too quiet, she's too loud, she could have done this, he could have done that..." We have no concrete proof other than the implications of Helen and Jason. I think we need to either add to the Resistance or the Spy list, and singling someone out like this is really the only way to do it.

Voting no and will do for any team that has Eden, Serges or both on :)

I voted yes for this one. I presume that Jason/Serges will play his card on Biggie so her mission card will be public. If the mission doesn't succeed at that point then I will presume that Eden and Serges are spies. Let's see what happens.

I think this is one of the best possible teams at this point, so I'm going to vote yes on this.

Illicit, you have to know whose side Molly is on to say that. If Molly is Resistance and this mission passes, the Resistance will get the upper hand.

Why, Ms. Maltese, I am in utter disbelief that you would suspect me as being a spy. I can assure you I am not.

I think if I weren't Resistance I would probably be lauding some great point about why Serges, Illicit, and Eden were in cahoots and select a completely different team. Which is possible but I feel unlikely. If we have underestimated them that much, I think they probably deserve to win, lol.

Although it makes me really nervous that Eden keeps giving points on exactly who you should be suspicious of if this mission fails. That was something I made a note of in the mission with Helen...but maybe he's just covering all his bases. I'm going to proceed with a yes on my mission.
