I recently found an awesome party/social game called "The Resistance" that my friends and I love to play. The premise is very similar to games like "mafia" and "werewolf"; you have a group of players, in which some of them are working against the group and have knowledge the others don't.

In "The Resistance", you are basically members of an underground organization known as "The Resistance" attempting to destroy the establishment. However, among you there are counter-agents, or "Imperial Spies" who are working to sabotage your efforts. The spies know who they are, as well as who else is a spy, but will for all intents and purposes appear to be working toward the goals of the Resistance.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions". The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

Jason is the spy people. I'm TELLING you! When have I ever not been trustworthy?

you know who else isnt trustworthy? Illicit since she clearly lied about Jason's allegiance. Which means we only have one more person to figure out.

I would say M., but I'm afraid he'll get angry again ;)

I'll tell ya what.... everything I am doing is going on the feeling that Special K is a spy.

And I've thought this ever since the first vote.

Before we voted the first time, Special K was UNCHARACTERISTICALLY quiet. And then just went ahead and voted yes without ever posting anything. That seemed weird to me. And then the mission went ahead and failed.

Now Jason could have failed the mission... BUT if he did that, that means that he and Illicit are both spies because she lied about his identity. Now here's the question..... if Illicit were a spy, would she REALLY pick Jason's card to be revealed to her knowing that he was a spy too? It's a way to try to trick everyone else and "clear" his name, but it's also very dangerous. If Jason gets busted as a spy, Illicit goes down with him. And my proposal was all about that. If this mission goes, and it fails, we know for an indisputable fact that Illicit is a spy and she will never go on a mission again. So the move to read your own spy-mates card seems to have more downside than upside.

For these reasons, and with all the information we have at the moment, I am currently thinking Special K is a spy and Jason is resistance (no matter how strangely he may be playing this).

OK. Now as for Marc.... Marc this is just a game hun. It doesn't mean we don't like you if we call ya a spy lol.

The thing about Marc is, not so much that he didn't choose himself for the mission. This is our first time playing so it may not have been obvious that you should put yourself on your own missions. It is the fact that he didn't take the card for himself where he could reveal someone's identity. That is puzzling. I can't imagine anyone who was Resistance having an opportunity at that card and not taking it. For that reason, I think that Marc has to be a spy. It could have been not fully understanding the game yet and being the first to go, but that just seems highly suspect.

Now let's move on to Danny Mack. Danny.... let me clarify something for you darling. In the FIRST mission, I said the Resistance should vote No. You voted Yes. In the second, mission I said I was on the fence and we should talk about it before voting, and you voted No, without talking. And YOU are calling ME a spy? Something is not adding up here lol and you are making me suspect you. Along with your post earlier saying you didn't trust Jason when he hadn't even posted anything yet ;) You are acting highly suspicious. I have my eye on you.
