I recently found an awesome party/social game called "The Resistance" that my friends and I love to play. The premise is very similar to games like "mafia" and "werewolf"; you have a group of players, in which some of them are working against the group and have knowledge the others don't.

In "The Resistance", you are basically members of an underground organization known as "The Resistance" attempting to destroy the establishment. However, among you there are counter-agents, or "Imperial Spies" who are working to sabotage your efforts. The spies know who they are, as well as who else is a spy, but will for all intents and purposes appear to be working toward the goals of the Resistance.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions". The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

A lot of noise in the room... one voice over all - nicnic. Trying to cover something nic? :D I believe Illicit in saying that Jason is one of the Resistance operatives. I want to ask Serges if that is ok, Illicit telling that Jason is Resistance. And also, if she's allowed to lie about this or she is forced to tell the truth.

CLARIFICATION ON RULES:

The ability Illicit used allowed her to know the allegiance of Jason Arends privately. The information I provided to her was done via PM, and all such similar divulgences by me will come via PM.

That being said, Illicit (along with everyone else) is allowed to publicly say anything they'd like about the game, including divulging privately received information from me.

HOWEVER, they are not compelled to by any means. Nor, as Cekuray suggest, is anyone required to be truthful when discussing things publicly. As the game master, information from me will ALWAYS be truthful; but, remember that this game is at its core about discerning fact from fiction.

Having played this game in person many times I have often found that the loudest are those trying to turn eyes away from themselves. At any rate time will tell and it is far too early in the game to know anything for sure.

OK folks, its finally time to send the team on the first mission!

The team for this mission, once again, is:
Molly Maltese
Jason Arends
Special_K

Molly, since Danny used "IN THE SPOTLIGHT" on you, you must announce your action on this mission publicly. After that, Jason and Special must PM me their action, and I will post the results of the mission.

A few key points to remember:
Resistance members MUST choose "Success", but Spies may choose either "Success" or "Sabotage". Also, it only takes 1 "Sabotage" to fail the mission. Lastly, when I post the results, I will NOT post who played what action; only Molly's will be definitively known, since she's "IN THE SPOTLIGHT".

So Molly, do you choose "Success", or "Sabotage"? Post here.
Once she has, Jason and Special_K, PM me your choices.
