So its possible im only thinking about this because its almost 5 am and i haven't been to bed yet, but some oddities have occurred to me here on sleuth.

There are never bald suspects.

No Bruce Willis in sleuthville. They all have straight or curly hair, even when their avatar may be bald, (what hair did you possibly find?)
No bald people. Male pattern baldness didn't happen in the 1930's, it was something that happened in the great hair crisis in 1947.

Also as serges has pointed out- no suspect is of average weight. They either have an eating disorder or an eating problem. I dont find that as odd as the bald thing though.

So i ask my fellow detectives what oddities have you noticed around sleuth?

Keep in mind im not complaining about the game, I sincerely love this game and i dont like to hear trash talk about it or its admins and mods. So if you've got hate take it elsewhere. I'm just asking if others have any amusing things you've noticed. Please share.

always fun when two suspects have the same name (or similar, in shang hai, delhi). triple check guilt on those suckers.

The distance from Cairo to New York (3 turns) and London (2 turns) is always stable (no matter if you are getting in or out of the city), this is not true for Delhi and Shanghai !

According to the official time tables you need 2 turns from Cairo to Delhi and 3 turns from Delhi to Cairo (Hard to get in…Easy to go out ?) while you need 2 turns form Shanghai to Cairo and 3 turns from Cairo to Shanghai (Easy to get in…Hard to go out?) !

I never noticed the geographic discrepancy before that's a fun one to think about.

Another odd thing i thought about, i had done no cases yet, traveled to shanghai and after doing 1 case for the day i had a favor available. Considering i hadn't done any cases before traveling, isn't that odd? I wouldn't think favors carry over from city to city anyway but it really surprised me. After that its gone back to the usual 3.

Somebody call Rod Serling.

Honey... even if they're bald, they still may have curly hair...

Ben makes his stance on baldness clear in this thread:

Another crazy thing in Sleuth World is the behaviour of Townies asking for favors. They ask for the favor ...you are helping them and they clam actually acting this way against their will to solve the case! Is really a crazy behaviour.

V, it's because they're scared to investigate on their own. They think they're next. By just asking you, they're placing themselves in danger and then get paranoid. And maybe they got a threatening a letter or a hang-up phone call so by the time you come back asking for questions, they don't want to know you for fear of their lives.

After all, what is the population of Sleuthville? Most people in this town are red-shirts... (if a character was just going to appear once just to be killed off on Star Trek, they often wore red.... as far as I've been told.)
