Soooo as there seems to have been bit of a revival in the past week, with a lot of older members returning to the game myself included. It doesn't take a genious to work out that the newer players won't know the older players and vice versa. One thing that this game has always had is a strong sense of community so the idea of this thead is to get to know each other a little better.

Hello every, Ray Mesias in game (my 3rd detective after 2 unsuccessful runs). James is my real name and I'm 27 with a degree in computer aided imaging (and animation). I joined Sleuth last month or so. Of the two I mainly play Sleuth Noir although I'm getting into Shades of Mystery (where I'm Edward Swift).
I'm a computer instructor for adults and I enjoy sword and sorcery novels. In my free time I draw, write, read comics, watch lucha libre and puroresu, and play video games (RPGs and business sims mostly). My favorite season is winter.
...what else...hrm...I like heavy metal. My favorite band is Manilla Road.

I think I'm on a piece of elastic. I've never really managed to leave. My middle name is 'Sporadic'. As you can see if you compare Cordy's age and her xp score, I'm not someone who's addicted to her twelve cases a day, but Sleuth's been somewhere in my life for quite a while now.
You're unlikely to find me in bar chat as I have a slight time zone problem. This was one thing back in the days when I lived in the UK and worked as a demotivated librarian, but for the last two and a half years I've been living in Moscow, Russia, as an expat spouse. This means I'm writing this at 1.45am and I should know better, but on the other hand I don't have to go to work in the morning. :)
In case anyone was wondering, my Russian is lousy.

Hello there fellow sleuths ;) I got a text msg the other day from a friend in the USA who said many were coming back so thought I would figure out my old password and stop in to say Hi!
I have been away for a few years and looks like I have lots of catching up to do.
Tried a case and managed to solve it so might stick around for a bit ;)

Thanks guys ;) Up to 3 solved cases now with my trusty pen and paper. Looks like I will get me a subscription and check out the rest of the world.
Woody is at the cottage and I think he might check in on us. I want him to come back and get Eye Spy up and running. Also just heard about a ship that might be nice to take a cruise on hehehe

Lady Jas asked me yesterday if Biggie Brought me out of retirement.. The answer is no lol, just a huge coincidence, just like the coincidence that i started playing sleuth 2236 days ago, so that makes me 1 day older than the ever wonderful Bigg :) seems destiny may be involved here.............
I have been away from this wonderful place for a few years now, came back for a week a while ago and wasted my one month sub lol, but this time I'M BACK!! just paid for a 12 month sub so i am committed again and addicted again too. I Joined SMRT Investigations all that time ago and was around for a few Milestones and made fabulous friends in this game but only in this game lol, Must say i am thrilled to have had a spot open up for me back in The company at the expence of StrangerDanger who if i recall was invented by ARALIVES who was a reincarnation of Arabesque lol. I remember her retirement didnt go down well ha ha ha ha ha. Anyway Hoping to get back in the swing of things, maybe move SMRT back toward the pointy end of these standings fingers crossed. Oh Im 28 too my birthday was earlier this month and i think i'll stick with my Avatar, i would look strange without that..
Glad to be back, Ben is a legend, Biggie is Awsome and i'm Chwanes!!
