I suggest Hypoware embeds a code whatever in the game that would enable users to see their mistakes or maybe glitches after the case is solved.

A temporary storage space, and some codes. That's it.

There are more than 2 reported instances -that I know - where the users were "dead sure" there was some sort of glitch in the game.

I don't mean to say "resolvable" "reopenable" cases - sorry for abusing the language, I have no idea if there are such words in English-

I mean playing the past case in sequences and frames to see what really happened.

Would like to hear your thoughts.

(I was going to post this on the Newbies thread and then changed my mind this would be the right place to post it)

An interesting idea, Eden. And as someone else pointed out to me, machines are made by humans. Computer programmes are written by humans and databases are maintained by humans. So - in the end - it is all human error!

I agree, it would be helpful to see where mistakes have actually happened.

"made by humans" Yes, that's pretty much the point.

Even if it turned out in the end that it wasn't glitches but players' mistakes that caused problems, I think this is worth a try.

When I searched for the word "glitch" within Noir, there were pages of results.

Some possible glitches had to do with the PE matching - but there seem to have been various glitches over the years.

The interesting thing is the administration admitted to possible glitches while logging in/doing little jobs,etc or while solving a case (lots of namesakes, same motives, many fathers, etc.) Can't remember which, but I remember having read that they would "deal" with it.

But the possibility of glitches during PE matching is somehow being ignored (that's the impression I get, I don't know). However, a glitch is a glitch and if it happens somewhere in the game, it can happen elsewhere too. As you said, humans do the programming.

I agree that it doesn't hurt from time to time to examine what the game may be doing or not doing.

I also agree that it wouldn't hurt after an FA to be able to see where it all went to hell in a hand basket.
