Think you know a lot about Sleuth Noir? Prove it. Answer my questions. Anyone is eligible to participate. If there are at least 10 interested participants, then this contest will go forward. You MUST post here to be considered eligible. Signups will be open until January 19, 2012. Questions will be posted at an undisclosed time on Jan 20, to keep things fair. A little brain exercise is always fun, no? :)

Format: 20 questions of varying difficulty, which will be posted below should there be sufficient interest. You must have the correct answers to all questions, numbered in order. Multiple-part answers must be separated by commas, and the answers must appear in the correct order to answer the question. All dates must appear as such: “April 15, 2012”.

Prizes: First Place: $500,000 Sleuth Dollars. Second Place: $250,000 Sleuth Dollars.
It is possible that there may be no winner at all. Only one entry per detective is allowed, and no second detectives are allowed. It is in your best interest not to share answers, as all answers can be found on this site.

Method of Submission: Please PM your answers to me, do *NOT* post on this thread. If any part of any answer is posted by anybody, the contest will be over and no one will win anything. The fastest correct submission will win first place, and the second fastest correct submission will win second place.

I am a grammar nerd, so please mind your spelling and capitalization. If there are any questions or concerns, PM me and I will reply as soon as possible. Most importantly, have fun! :D

Well now...considering the headache I had to fight after unsuccessfuly answering most of the questions, I have to say these winners deserve a toast!...Hmmm...where did I stash that flask...Oh, here...forgot I hid it in my hat...Wait! That's why my head was hurting! Who would've thought...

Anyway, now for the toast:...Ummm...le'me take a sip to freshen up my speech...*gulp*...hey, this's good stuff...I'll take another one...*gulp, gulp, gulp...gulp*...wh...at was I sayin'?...Oh...speech...what speech?...The bottle's...empty...need a refill...

*comes back half an hour later, staggering through the door, hat pushed back on the top of his head, shirt ouf of his pants, tie hanging loose around his neck...*

"We...hic...ll...where's that Riza gal...hic...gotta...hic...toast a drink to...hic...her too...oh damn!"...looks down the narrow neck of his flask, almost poking his eye out in the process..."nee...hic...d'anothe' refill...oooff I go again..."

Dear sweet Riza, though I didn’t submit what answers I found, I did spend several hours researching and reading through the threads on the message boards and I learned a lot. I want to commend you for excellent job you did in creating questions that were both difficult and easy. It was very challenging, and yet a helpful tool in updating me about Sleuth. I’m still trying working on it, and regardless of how long it takes me, I will submit my answers to you just to see how I done and for the fun of it, LOL! I look forward to another contest soon. Thanks again Riza. *Hugs*

PS: It was just brought to my attention that the answers are posted, however, since I only read the last responses above, I haven't seen them, therefore, I want to continue researching the contest for fun and learning. It's nice to know, like Linus, that I have my security blanket, LOL!

PSS: I’m not bad for a ninety year old, with one glass eye, loss of hearing and hip replacement. Why do you think I walk the streets of Sleuthsville, in house slippers and need a walking cane? ROFL. Meanwhile, I've fallen and I can't get up!

See what plastic surgery can do? I'm not half bad looking for an old broad, ha!

Oh, in case some of you are wondering, thankfully I had that little handheld gadget that dials "911." So this granny is up and at it again. Guess you might say, as an ole saying goes," You can't keep a good woman down." *Wink*
