Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

I clicked on a case (easy level) and got booted to the login page. When I logged back in I noticed I only had 9 cases left instead of 10. Case gone and a favor less to play which is a bummer as I need to get secret plans for my nemmy.

Some evil clown has been pushing the Sleuth buttons today. Surveillance failed ALL the time with ALL my detectives.

Got an urchin case. Had to quit though as so many clammed up it looked like a goddamn seafood buffet.

Alas, poor Poirot fell ill today and, like an idiot, I used my rings for more training a couple weeks ago (I suddenly and unexpectedly noticed that he had more to learn and I was so excited I handed over all my rings - TAKE THEM ALL!! HE MUST BE SMARTER!)

Well, fast forward to today and I had to shell out the cash to cure him instead... What was I just saying a few posts ago, about how I saved rings for just such an occasion?

Sure, those rings were getting heavy, but now that my pockets are also lighter on cash, I miss the weighty jingle. Damn; pets are expensive. Ffs, I need to listen to my own advice!

I purchased a lovely new pair of shoes from the University in Cairo. Why the Dean sells shoes, I may never fully understand. But, my gams look great!

Either the Dean isn't getting paid enough or he has a shoe fetish. Either way, I'm thankful for his great craftsmanship!

I cant seem to find the keys to my apartment, none of the hidden spares, and of course I didnt even leave a copy with the landlady (she was always a little shifty).

So I am stuck in a City where my name is a ghost, my pockets are empty, and working for chump change; just enough for a cup of coffee from Rosies. Go me.
