Have you just had your best day of Sleuthing ever? Solved your first AI case? Got your last contact? Picked up your first treasure? Found a spoon? Finally got into the Prince's Palace?*

This is the place to share the joy, have a 'woot' or two and be congratulated by your fellow Sleuths.

Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

(* If you don't get the references, never mind. You could ask someone. Or you could just wait and see what the world of Sleuth brings you further down the line...)

oh no @Dreamcatcher!!

i do wish we could pay to kennel them for a bit, or something. i haven't played cases in about a week and half because work has been crazy, but i logged in for 2 minutes every day to feed Poirot, just so he stayed happy. definitely wish i could've put him in a boarding aviary so he'd be happier and not alone while i was away!

I've also been gone a while. My poor snake, Severus, is super sick. But, I don't have enough money to pay for his treatment. So, I'm trying to finish cases to get money, but he has dropped my smarts so much that I can't do high level cases to get more money. Drats.

It actually doesn't matter whether you take good care of your pet or not. At some point they will get sick no matter what. And it wouldn't even matter but they'll get negative stats that will drag your overall stats down. You may get lower stats than when you wouldn't have had a pet. That's asinine.

Yeah, pets seem to get sick easier and quicker when you aren't able to log-in and feed/groom them regularly. My snake got sick once when I was on regularly (that is why my money was low when I took my break) so, coming back on and finding him sick again was not fun. I have made enough for his medicine at this point. But, I can't do much else since my cash is super low now. But, at least I have my stats back!

If you acquire enough brass rings you could trade them in for health potion vs. spending all the cash as well.

Save the fact that furores are damn annoying and boring. They cost money too.

Those are the two options at present. Doing furores is a lot less money than just buying a health potion.

What would be nice, is a Pet Hotel, where you could board the pets while you are away and have the option to turn pets off like you do with furore tickets.

I have ten rings, which isn't enough for medicine. I tried to get an invite while raising money for my sick snake, but I only got one and was unable to play at that time.

@Copaiba, ugh, poor snake.

I was worried about my parrot getting sick so I kept playing furores for quite awhile after maxing out his training just so I have enough when the little guy becomes sick.

How much is it to pay for the medicine?

$100,000.
