Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

Not too shabby my sleuth day. Got a case with the street urchin. Four notes and two suspects who claim the librarian will provide an alibi. Still solved it.

It's fantastic when cases have that level of drama, but still get solved. Did you get the murderer on the very last chance at witness evidence, or anything like that?

You got it Yeti. I had to pay attention when I asked for a certain name and noticed they would clam up immediately. So I kept inquiring for that specific suspect and finally the last one on the list gave me the witness evidence I needed. The only one that was left handed had a valid alibi. All the rest were right handed.

After a whole string of repeat clues or simply worthless clues, finally at my very last case I got the decisive clue for my AVH. So predictable.

After spending THREE days in Shanghai waiting for a favor for the Stage Manager, I finally got my map for the catacombs. In less than two minutes, it was completely wasted by traps. :(

NOT a happy Sleuth day.

My nemesis task: Task: Search the catacombs beneath the Cairo pyramids for Secret Plans... YAY!

I'm hanging on a favour for the postmaster in Delhi, and NOT trying very hard at all to get it purely coz I know what is going to happen...

Second day of my villain hunt. Still stuck in Cairo but I needed just one more clue and I could move on. With 12 cases to play that shouldn't be too hard right?

As could be expected I got some repeat clues. Only had to quit one case where everyone clammed up like nothing. Then finally, when I got only 3 cases left the damn clue got out. Only 2 cases but that could still be enough to travel to London or Delhi. It was Shanghai. Of course.

Funny and fascinating how this game mechanic seems to be aiming at slowing you down.

Down to the last little job question in the nemesis hunt and I accidentally press the wrong answer, even though I know the correct one .
