Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

Yay!!! Finally got out of Delhi (my first city on this VH) after I-can't-even-remember-how-many-days, got through NY, and *just* squeezed in a trip to London on my last case :)

Reacquainted myself with how much I hate, hate, HATE the catacombs. 159 cases and 12 skill points into a (so far) failed attempt to secure an artifact and advance my nemesis hunt.

I cannot WAIT until this hunt is over and I never have to deal with this frustration again.

Artifact secured late Saturday.

A VERY successful Sunday. TWO nemesis clues in a single day - including a trip to the catacombs for secret plans. Swooped into Cairo w/ a travel kit one case shy of a favor. Got a map on the first try. Hit two traps but picked up the plans on the third attempt. After returning to NYC for my clue I pulled the urchin again on the last case of the day and had enough bribe cases stockpiled to knock that clue out too. Preparation pays off.

Today's been a bust though. Hopefully the dirty little street rat will rear his head tomorrow.

Aargh!!! First case today, I visit the first suspect, but am logged out before I can ask her if she knows if anybody else had a reason to kill the victim. I log back in, and since she's the only other suspect I was given, other than the Client, I go back to question her, and find her dead. Great. I ask ALL the townies if they know anything about tha case. Two do. One informs me that my Client doesn't know anything. Okay. The other tells me that the dead suspect also knew nothing. They revealed nobody! :( Then, I checked the Client's alibi on the off-chance that he *might* be fake, and *might* have a piece of PE against him. He's got a real alibi. REALLY?!?! NOW!??!

For my nemesis I spent 8 days in NY trying to get a favor and half a map from the tailor. Went to Cairo, looking for secret plans but found those stupid spoons on the first try so I can't go back into the tombs without a new map. Who has that?? The tailor in NY of course! Is it groundhog day or am I in hell?
