Have you just had your best day of Sleuthing ever? Solved your first AI case? Got your last contact? Picked up your first treasure? Found a spoon? Finally got into the Prince's Palace?*

This is the place to share the joy, have a 'woot' or two and be congratulated by your fellow Sleuths.

Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

(* If you don't get the references, never mind. You could ask someone. Or you could just wait and see what the world of Sleuth brings you further down the line...)

Actually Lawliettine, if you'd met her you'd know that's a scarily plausible suggestion... :)

I am very concerned that Sylvia Lee the Butcher is up to something shady.

She has had 8 friends killed in the last three days. I am getting very tired of doing favours for her ;)

I got pirated on the way to Shanghai from London. Sure I lost time for 4 cases, BUT the pirates were very...hospitable? They sang and danced and it turns out the only reason they hijacked us was because they wanted an audience -_-

Anyone else with similar experiences?

Ah, memories... There was the time I got hijacked by Black Bob of Nantucket and his crew of desperadoes, who treated us to a full rendition of the ballet from ''Oklahoma'', followed by a rousing chorus of ''There Is Nothing Like A Dame''...

Oh how I love what I call the bull's eye favour cases.

The only piece of evidence belonging to your PE contact, matches the only suspect revealed at the beginning, who has your WE contact as an alibi, and who is the criminal :)

I have been playing this game for years, this is my fourth detective (because I take long breaks and forget passwords) and have always gotten a PE contact in NY right away. This time around they keep giving me useless crap. Grr...Hoping that saying it out loud (in text) jostles the fates into giving me that nasty ole Ruby. :)

It's been a weird couple of days. I've run into a couple of really strange names for suspects (can't remember where that thread went, but oh well), and then to top it off, the hubby finally captures...

Aristotle "Demented Burro" Zulfiqar

:-.

Now, I was there when they modified the AV moniker list. Heck, I helped my partner come up with a slew of 'em. But "Demented Burro"?!?!

O.O

Ani, what the....

I'm presuming this is your ironically twisted take on Crazy Horse. I know we came up with some rather outlandish things.

But DEMENTED BURRO????

*head in hands, giggling*

Apparently nothing is sacred anymore in the world of Sleuth. ;-)

Today was the first time I completed a treasure hunt. The Gilded Necklace of the Olmecs. It was an indescribable feeling :)
