I did not mean to post that without a message. Darn enter key. I meant to say: because it feels like a ghost town. Tonight when I logged on I was all by my lonesome with zero other users online. I'm not sure if I should throw a wild party or shed a tear.

If I were a sentimental man, I might be a wee bit tearful. Good thing I'm not. Just take it as it comes and when the fun is gone, ...

I do miss the energy I saw when I started playing a year and a half ago. But since I can't play as much as I did then, the loss is less.

I'm here most of the time!
If that counts...:(

Howdy pilgrim...

mmm yeah. Logins are weird like that. Whilst I can't really give out a huge amount of statistical info, Noir still has hundreds of logins in a day and over the course of the last two weeks for example hundreds of new users. And people continue to subscribe. That's not always visible to everyone, as only a very very small % of players post or even look at the boards. And with time zones and an international playing community sometimes you will see zero online.

There is a lot for a new players to do. The game is a LOT bigger than when I first started playing. Yet, like many others I suspect, seems quite small when you've been around for a while. Or even, I admit, when you recognise what 'could be' instead of what 'is'.

But overall, statistically, Noir is far from 'dead'.

and glad it's not dead. I get caught up in the real world and don't have time. But I always come back. Good to hear we have new players!! I'm GMT + 3 and sometimes I'm one of 4 on line. I guess it depends where and when you are if there are players here.
Anyway, Long Live Sleuth!

So much fun now that I'm subscribed,I can't help but log in from time to time everyday, even when I'm out of cases and have nothing to do!Still good to see the community still going strong after 6 years when I first started...Definitely something that's going to last for years to come!

What's that? You want me to say it?Alright...I will.

I....am a Sleuthoholic!

There...I said it.

I think everyone agrees though that it would be nice to have a more active community on the boards and chatroom.

Everyone would agree with that, but then again everyone has their life outside of sleuthville with dilemmas and situations that require their attention. Can't blame anyone, though it was so much more lively 3 years ago.

With that said,it would be nice if everyone could at least log to say hello twice or thrice a week.
