I accidentally put the initial post as an empty box, sorry. My question is this... Following my acquisition of the needed contacts, I'm setting out on my first avh. Approximately how much money will I need to bankroll the hunt?

It depends... - some say that $20 000 will do, while I who like to have room to bribe whenever I want to, would say $50 000 :-P

It does depend on how lucky you are at avoiding repeat clues. I don't think I've ever made a loss on a VH if I've sold the reward item for $48,000, though. $20,000 is probably enough in most cases, but I'd go with Irene and have a bit extra in the bank just in case!
