I have just discovered a way to play 2 characters in sleuth at the same time from the same computer.
Opening one character in explorer and another one from a different browser (Google chrome in my case) has resulted in having both active at the same time.
Maybe it is even possible to actually control morethan 2 by opening other browsers in addition

As far as I know, you can have as many characters online at the same time, as you have different browsers.
I have myself played with 3 at the same time from one computer, then with one on Internet Explorer, one on Firefox, and one on Safari. - at that time I started get a challenge to stuff the windows in a way that enabled me to use all of them at the same time. (But then I almost always play with more than 2 windows for each character, 2 windows is a minimum, as you need to have the sleuth mail up in order for your session to not time out).

Also, if you are playing with the playsleuth2-site, you will be able to have one character online on playsleuth2, and another one on noir, the original, even though that sometimes can be a bit tricky, as they tend to steal the mail window from each other :-P

I find it quite useful though, when I have more than one character in an agency, to play with one of the characters, and then go online with the other one on playsleuth2, to do "contact-work", as I, myself, find it quite convinient to be able to do so with two clicks. (one for open, and one for close of case file)

Erm well, yeah. Helps me edit, when I do. Play the SM on Squirrel, edit as I go on Paranoid. I can see live changes as I make them :) *shrugs* are we saying this is a good thing or a bad thing. I just figured it was a 'done' thing.

[It's also how some sneaky people come into Barchat on their normal toon and then open another browser and get up to all kinds of naughty hijinx on another toon :) ... kids, huh :)]

Far as I know, as long as you're not violating the "more than 2 detectives in one agency" rule, there's no crime. Admin may have something different to say bout the matter (though from the looks of things, at least one of them is fine with it, hint, hint. ;-)

When somebody blows up their computer 'cause they've got too many detectives goin' at one time, I'd kinda like to hear bout it. T'would make for a good laugh. ;-D
