I've just opened my email and found something interesting: a Sluth Holiday Newsletter.

Here's the most interestng part:

"SKILL OF DUMB LUCK... YOU BE THE JUDGE!
Coming to a secret location near you... we've distributed some new rare prize drops around the broad expanse of Sleuthville. Challenge yourself to find these eye catching, uniquely colour-toned, in-game items. Be the first to display and say "that was SO easy".

Test Your Luck

I'm curious, has anyone found anything yet?

I think ctown might be right. Probably something similar to the items released for Halloween. I don't think 'colour-toned' applies to Noir.

I agree with turtledove that 'color-toned' does sound a bit off for Noir... - on the other hand, it said that it was a Noir newsletter...

- perhaps Sunny is offering her violet hair charm?
- or we are looking for something in sienna?

Oh yes, of course, it's me being dumb. I'm sorry if I mislead anybody besides myself. It seems there is no such thing as dumb luck for Noir players.

You were not the only one that was misled Miss Clifford.

When I read the newsletter, it seemed to assume that posting "it was SO easy" on the message board would be tempting people to do so...

Now, that I found odd, because the way I know the Noir people, we are a bit more mature... I can't really recall having seen a lot of "braggers" here. Besides, of course, Ctown, when he finally got his cape :-P

Anyway, there is a tiny possibility that Ben got struck by something and actually did introduce "color-toned" items in Noir. Yuck.

Oh, come on, Mr. Androctonus, wouldn't you like a nice purple magnifying glass or a pink fedora, just for a change? A touch of colour in a black-and-white world... And maybe Ctown finally finds a pretty aquamarine cape :).

I agree, SO easy doesn't sound like Noir.

Hey, I resemble that remark! ;-)

(And you forgot about the bragging for Secret #1) ;-)

Oh, yea, I remember there was something about the finding of Secret #1...
- was that something found by Secret Squirrel? - or turtledove?
I can't really remember, the name seems to escape my mind... ;-)

Truth be told I am the one who found Secret #1 first. However , in the goodness of my heart, I allowed ctown to take credit for it because he loves to brag and besides he paid me an obscene amount of money ;-) hehe.

Rumors from the underground Sleuth underworld say that he paid you with a lifetime subscription on top of other benefits!
