I had an idea, of course lifted from another game (Diablo II). We could have set items, where having a complete set would give some sort of bonus. For example, if someone has the Zoot suit, Zoot hat and two apt Zoot items as chosen by Ben, they may get a plus one in each category. You could sprinkle the set items in lower level favors or at the faction headquarters or detective shop, and of course make them randomly available at the cabaret. What do you think?

I don't agree on the low points. It would be too easy to get. The low points bonus, would be to get better equipment, they have somewhere to agree. However, the zoot suit idea is end of the line, and a bonus would be good.

Sleuth Hat + Magnifying Glass + Thinking Pipe + Tweed Cape = Super Sherlock Suit (+100 Charm/Tough/Smarts Bonus)

I like the idea - sort of. I figure the best items, when used together, instead of giving great point levels should give a few points, but the use of all of the items would detract some of those points - like the Thinking Pipe normally gives a +3 Smarts, but if the Thinking Pipe were, say used with the White Lab Coat, Russian Fur Hat, and the Fine Leather Breifcase, if i remember right they should give 0/13/1 for toughness/smarts/charm, but with the new rule in place the updated detective stats would be more like -4/9/-3 (origional stats + a -4 points (1 for each item) to each catagory).
