Police Swoop on Stables
After repeated accusations of race-fixing, Shanghai police today raided the stables of newly crowned celebrity thoroughbred Three-Legged Tom. Extensive interviews were carried out with stable staff, but police were not forthcoming with the results of those interviews.

Oooooh, I just love scandals :-D

It was announced today that hard working Gumshoe, Detective Xanthias, was the winner of the lottery to disburse funds returned after the recent Shanghai Invitational fiasco. Amusingly, Track Officials were keen for Detective Xanthias to accept 'track credits', but the wise sleuth in question took the cold hard cash; a grand total of $290,458. Congratulations, Detective Xanthias!

Congrats, Xanthias!

How did the lottery work (I wasn't around for the Shady lottery)? Did you have to buy tickets somewhere to enter (if so, I never found where to get them lol), or were we all just entered into the lottery automatically? Either way, I think having a lottery was a fun idea!

(eesh I need more hours in the day, seriously)

Ok the lottery works as a side story. There's no real player interaction as such, besides following the story. A subscribed player is chosen at random at the end of the story to win a (usually) large sum of money.

Thanks SS, that makes sense...I just wanted to make sure that no actual purchasing of lottery tickets was involved :)
