If you can only do 8 cases a day (so 56 a week), how come the people on the high scores board have done WAY more than that? I wondered if it was something to do with how agencies work, but I can't see it in the help file at all.

Yes, the feature mysteries do NOT count if you get them wrong - but the favours do. However (and mind you this was the way it used to be, and since a bunch of things have changed, it might not work like this anymore, but like I said it used to be that way), the favour cases do(did) NOT count towards the "Cases Solved in Last 7 Days", although they do count towards "Quit Cases and False Accusations in Last 7 Days" :)

You have to do 3 cases successfully. Then you have to ask a townsperson if they have a favor for you when you are NOT doing a case.

jojo, I think it's FOUR cases. So if you do a favor successfully, then do three /more/ cases, you'll earn another favor. But if you quit or get a false on that favor or any of the cases, then you'll need to do an extra.

When you ask any of the townspeople if you can do them a favour, every so often (four cases, apparently), there'll be someone who wants a favour done. If you go back and see them when you've finished your current case, they'll have a bonus case for you.

Huh, you answered your own question?

Or was there someone logged on as you, answering you. That's pretty funny, I never saw THAT happening before. :)
