If you can only do 8 cases a day (so 56 a week), how come the people on the high scores board have done WAY more than that? I wondered if it was something to do with how agencies work, but I can't see it in the help file at all.

Yes, it does have to do with agencies. If f.ex. a detective doesn't have time to do all his or her cases, they can choose to upload them as "extras" for the other detectives within their agency to profit from instead :)

Technically, it should be about 10 - counting one favor case for every 4 random cases if I remember correctly.
There are those daring souls who tackle the highest level cases available to them (see the Mop Men Contest for the highest score achieved by an unsubscribed player).
Agencies bring together people with various contacts and equipment, and enable detectives to save cases or pass them to another for help. Some people leave open cases for others to take on (especially during hunts), so an agent can push his or her caseload over 10 per day.

Thanks Greyling! I'll stop feeling jealous now and just wish that Ben would make it so that you could have a higher subscription level for more games. The idea that I have to wait until tomorrow for my next fix is KILLING me!

Technically yes it is about 10-11 cases per day, however, the favour cases don't count on the weekly score list - although they do count on the negative side if you quit or get them false :)

Or maybe it has changed and they do count on the list of weekly solved cases (they didn't use to, though)?? - *lol* - starting to confuse myself here :D

I thought it was the Featured Cases that don't count if you flub.

Yes, the feature mysteries do NOT count if you get them wrong - but the favours do. However (and mind you this was the way it used to be, and since a bunch of things have changed, it might not work like this anymore, but like I said it used to be that way), the favour cases do(did) NOT count towards the "Cases Solved in Last 7 Days", although they do count towards "Quit Cases and False Accusations in Last 7 Days" :)
