I opened a beginner case and I was unable to find anything at the crime scene. How do I solve this?

Are you sure that you clicked on the crime scene tab at the top of the page? You should have gotten at least a footprint or note. I think that these 2 are the most common for beginner cases. Have you tried the tutorial? It's quite helpful to understand what you must do to solve a case.

Yes, I clicked on the crime scene tab. It said I was unable to find anything useful. I have read the newbie page and done the tutorial.

Solved the case by lucking out and getting 2 WE. Just wondering if is a glitch or normal to not get anything at the crime scene.

I don't think it was a glitch, there was probably only hair or threads at the scene. You need to get hair and thread analysis before your detective is able to find this evidence.

Thanks everyone! I will hurry up and get hair and thread analysis!

I had this same problem a while ago. I was used to finding clues just by searching or visiting the crime scene in Shades of Mystery, without the need to have skills (eg. footprint analysis) to be able to find them. I just recently tried playing Noir.

Well, I just tried the *2WE + fake alibi = guilty* formula, I have read somewhere in the Newbie FAQs. And -- thank God -- it worked.

It took me about an hour or two to ACTUALLY know the basics and get, atleast, a bird's eyeview of the game, though. I went on asking some random online guy if he could help me, and yes, he was happy to do so. I also tried the forums and FAQs & help guides.

Well, it was all worth it after all. I solved my first case! :)
