What the hell...an annoying error.

I was doing a job for the Order of Socrates and I was answering questions about mystery books. I was on the second question, "Which victim was found by the fountain in New York, in "From Potter's Field"?" I answered 3, Lori Peterson. I KNEW this was right, my dad has read the book. Then it came back with
""No, that's not correct. The right answer was: Mr. Harley Quin."

You got 1 correct answers.

Sylvia said, Sorry, that's just not good enough. I don't think I can trust you.""

For one, Mr. Harley Quin wasn't an option. I wasn't on the last question, I was on the SECOND. And I answered the previous question correctly, too.

What may have happened is that your browser or you refreshed a page, so that it resent the following command to Sleuth: "My answer is the first option ('Choice A'), now give me the next question." So it thought you got the second question wrong, and then it took your second answer and used it for the third question (and Harley Quin was actually the answer to the third question). Sorry I'm having a hard time explaining this well.

Still sounds like a bug though, but be careful about opening new browser windows, refreshing, etc. if you do that.

It does sound like your browser sent two requests, for some reason. Was the game running slow at the time? Sometimes, when it's slow, I'll get impatient and try clicking the link again. What that can do is send two requests. The game then thinks that you are answering both the second and third question with the same answer, which would obviously make the second one wrong. Not sure, but it sounds like that might have been what happened.

In any event, this does seem like something I should be able to fix. I'll get to work on it. Sorry.

Hm, I might have clicked twice. Thanks.

It's happened to me too.

On the same questions and answers and in the same way as Damon Wayans.

I did however open a new window to try and find the answer to the second question.

Something strange though. I have since had the question again and have answered it correctly (with Rachel Jayne Gault).

Which answer is meant to be correct? Admins or Damon's?

No of that is what I came to post. so,...

...How come the Who's logged on screen only ever shows around 13 people logged on?

Surely the game is more popular than that?

I'm totally hooked

No, when the change was made tonight to have the accusation bring you to another screen instead of a pop-up box the game TOTALLY freaked out. I know this because I played through the troubles.
From 2 am or so onward the game would bring you to a screen from another case whenever you went to question witness, confirm alibis or basically any action. You would have to revisit the person you were speaking to to get an answer related to your case. The browser also crashed several times. Shortly before 6 am mst though it started working fine again.

Err, I meant last night. I have a skewed sense of time from my work schedule.

I was actually hoping during this time I would get brought to a case solved screen from another case and get the reward for multiple cases solved. It was an interesting bug.

You are not the only one this has happened to. I've had two incidents to where I answered two questions correctly, however while waiting on my third question to pop up, I was corrected for a wrong answer that I never gave to a third question, I never saw. Still I received credit for the two correct questions, but this was very annoying to me too. I think there's a bug
