Villain's Mysterious Disappearance
Agents of the Prince of Shangri-La professed today that they were baffled by Mordred "the Snake" Malatesta's disappearance. Last seen with co-conspirator Patricia Green, his whereabouts remain a mystery, as she had no knowledge of his travel plans.
This is really exciting!!

hmm now there's a thought. Shady is similar to Mordred as well. He is mysterious, always disappears and can't be found unless there is something in it for him.

Pirates Tied to Missing Villain?
Rumors continue to circulate about the reported death of Mordred "the Snake" Malatesta. An anonymous source aboard the steamship Sleuthetania claims to have seen the Villain signalling a mysterious passing ship in the night. "Fall!", the witness exclaimed. "That man stood on the railings and executed one of the most perfect swan dives I've ever seen."
-- I knew it! Villains don't die easily. Now where is he hiding???

Prince Frustrated by Failure
The Prince of Shangri-La has expressed concern over the failure of a leading detective to capture Mordred "the Snake" Malatesta. "There are a limited number of places he could have gone," fumed the Prince in a rare display of temper. "I cannot understand what the problem is. Never before has a detective so badly failed me!"

'We are chasing our tails, going back to old haunts, but we are running out of places to search,"
and then
"There are a limited number of places he could have gone,"
-------
What the devil are we missing?
How many places in sleuth have we never searched? Or have features that might be opening up?
There is the boardwalk, maybe the bank in Cairo. What about the caves in Shangri-La, maybe a new passage. Any other ideas?

Not entirely sure why I got this, but here ya go. Enjoy! :-)
So I see dat da Little Runt has gotten youse all in the Prince's bad books. Now dere's a man who don't like to be made to look like no fool.
Me, I'm thinkin the Prince shoulda hired some professionals from the get go, not left it to youse bunch of low lifes who is, in my books, only one very small step above the Villains you is chasin'.
I read in some fortune cookie “Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up."
Still I think after youse has failed so miserably tryin' to find this Malatesta fellow, that maybe stayin down aint such a bad thing after all.
Stick to Shady's motto:
"If at first youse don't succeed, give up, no use bein' a damn fool twice."
My respect to youse and yours.
Shady
