Okay, this might not happen to you, but it happens to me quite frequently for some reason. I have got on touch with some of my friends, and none of them have experienced the bug. So I don't know what to do next, so I will post it here.

Whenever I use Sweet Talk on a suspect, the suspect then redirects me to a page as if I were asking for anyone elses' motives. I didn't even ask them that, I just Sweet Talked them?

What happened, help please? ;O

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, because you can't 'just' Sweet Talk anyone. You can only use your Sweet Talking skill in order to get the question you've already asked. Picking the question comes first.

So, for example, if you want to know a suspect's alibi, you start by clicking on that question. If they clam up, it's only then that you get the option to Sweet Talk or Interrogate them.

If you Sweet Talk someone and then get a list of other suspects, it should be because you clicked on that question, and then got the option to Sweet Talk them.

What was the result you were expecting when you Sweet Talked the suspect?
