i thought this only happened in hard cases and up. it is happening in easy cases as well. is this something new?

I always thought it was random. For me, it actually makes some cases easier because the ones that died tended to be the annoying ones that refused to give you an alibi and won't let you break into their house to gather evidence.

Well, when one dies, it can have two ways out : That suspect can be (little chance) your only way to a new "lead" (my bribes are usually very expensive, so I always look for the suspects first). Or, it can "easen" your investigation, because if that one has a fake alibi, it's helping you out in a good way.

But, I think it's random. But see it this way. The more, the better... Except if you have too many suspects xD.
