Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

I thought it was time again, to get this thread resurfaced.

Here we go, new riddle:
It is estimated that the earth weighs 6 sextillion tons. How much more would the earth weigh of one sextillion tons of concrete and stone were used to build a large wall?

It would still weight six sextillion tons because the concrete and stone come from the earth.

(I hope I don't need to be ashamedabout this reply)

No one should ever be ashamed having an opinion that they can put a solid argument behind.

In this case particulary.....the answer is CORRECT!!!

Here is another:
Shadow surveys the crime scene. A woman is shot to death and is lying face down in the parking lot. A light snow covers the ground. Leading to the body is a set of foot prints which run between two sets of parallel tracks. Leading away fromt he dead woman are just two sets of parallel tracks. What type of person should Shadow be looking for?

A bag lady with a motorized shopping cart?? ;-)

Or else the woman was pushing a shopping cart, and got shot from a distance, and the cart rolled on without her (so look for a sniper? )

No no, not a sniper. Definitely points for creativity. :)

The answer is less creative.

Was the lady murdered by someone she was pushing in a wheelchair? The set of footprints must have been the victim's if they don't lead away.

OR ...

The victim and the murderer are identical twins, one of whom uses a wheelchair and the other cares for her. Fed up of caring for her sister, the twin pushes her out into the parking lot, pushes her out of her wheelchair (thus explaining why she's face down) and shoots her. She then gets into the wheelchair and makes a very slow escape : o )

*possibly a silly answer too*

Maybe a monkey/ape. It was in the shoping cart. Bang. Ran away with hands showing one set and feet showing anouther.
