Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.

A new one:
The owner of the "Soul-Ace Hotel" asked Hardy Pyle to go to the local butcher shop to buy some steaks. The butcher told Hardy that he had 18 steaks varied in quality. Half of the steaks were worth 4 dollars and the other half worth 6 dollars. If the butcher selected the steaks they would be 4 dollars each and if Hardy selected them they would be 6 dollars each. Bearing in mind that the butcher will obviously choose the lower quality steaks, what should Hardy do in order to get the best all-round deal?

cut a $4 steak and a $6 steak in half, glue them together, and buy 2 $5 steaks, obviously

Duct tape, or we could invent DUCK tape, used for taping steaks together. Why we would call it duck tape, I don't know

Because steaks are food, and some people eat ducks. And ducks are a meat...so it goes hand in hand with steak?

(Now, I'm just rambling on.)

Jet packs are the new form of transportation! You strap it on and then push a button. Before you know it, you are at your destination!
