Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

Another one:
Shadow answered a burglary call at the home of his friend, Captain Frank. As Shadow was combing the house for clues, he opened the bedroom door and saw Mrs. Frank whom had hanged herself. Just then Captain Frank came down the hall and told Shadow not to bother with the bedrooms since the burglars never entered them. Shadow closed the bedroom door and continued his investigation at the other end of the housel. Why would Shadow not respond to what he saw?

Or maybe she tryed to kill herself in the past but didnt sucseed? story doesnt say she is hanging (if I understand it right).

He went to arrest Mr.Frank for murder.

Maybe She had hanged herself and he saw a picture of her?

Well River, in your maybe you were right!!!! Although I do think Mad one, and Reda deserve credit too, as combined it is the correct answer.
She did hang herself years before, and what Shadow saw was a picture of her. As he was a friend, he knew he hanged herself.
