Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

It says each man took a pear, but it doesn't say that each rider took a pear. The riders might not be men.

It also says three pears hanging high, but it doesn't say that those are the only three pears. (Okay, that's a bit of a stretch.)

Maybe it was too hard. No one could have known what Mrs Shady was dreaming if she died in her sleep, or right after immediately. :)

At request of Fonzie, another one....

What occurs once in every minute, twice in every moment, yet never in a thousand years?

And...

You throw away the outside, and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?

The three of you are ALL right!!!!!

This one is easy.

Charilie Chromedome went for a walk without an umbrella. He did not wear a hat and he did not take refuge under a shelter, yet not one hair on his head got wet. How was this possible?
