Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

Riddles are Hard! Unless I Know Them. XP

Well anyways, here's one. I don't know if it's easy or not.

There was a man that was locked inside a cell in jail. He managed to get out of jail . Everyone who worked for the jail knew about it, yet they didn't do anything about it. Why is that?

He wasn't a prisoner.

He had served his prison term and was due to be released that day.

My guess for the first sound is: sum or add?

No one has been able to crack my riddle. Though I would love to see some people try.

I've been trying, but I'm still completely stumped. I need to consult my mother the crossword genius, but she's on holiday...

I suppose all your answers were right, but I was thinking because the was hired to test out the locks.

Anyways, Here's Another One:

Tonedeaf Terry went to the bar without any money left in his pocket. While chatting with the other customers, he saw a man with loads of money in his wallet. He therefore decided to bet him on something.

He went up to the man, and said "I bet you all that money in your wallet that I can sing a famous song with the name of someone dear to you in it."

The mean replied with a laugh, "Of Course You Can't! My daughter's name is Henrietta Bloopblaze Havestrock. Try singing a song with that!"

Nevertheless, once Terry finished singing, the man immediately handed over the money. What song did he sing?
