Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.

Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

Did her hand appear different than "usual"? [In her case, not really.]
If so, was this difference something that a person not knowing any relevant circumstances find odd in any way? [A person would not find it odd in any way. Maybe a little uncommon, but that could just be my opinion.]

If there was a difference about her hand, was it an addition? [No] Omission? [No] Change in physical characteristics [Yes] [nail color, for example]? [No]

So there was a change in physical characteristics of her hand... that was clearly noticable... but not necessarily out-of-the-ordinary to the casual observer... and her husband noticed the difference... which led him to realize that she had been unfaithful... and therefore shot her...

Does a wedding ring have anything to do in any way with the difference?
Was it her left hand? Right?

Was there something relevantly unique about this particular woman?

Would her hand be considered "normal" to the casual observer at the time of her shooting? Before the general time of the shooting?

Was it both hands? Was there anything on, in, or around her hands that would be considered part of the sign?

Ok I've been reading this and now I'm gonna have to buy in. Bill's Wedding Ring idea was what I thought originally...

The only answer I can come up with (and lets get the offbeat ones outa the way) was that it was night and a full moon, he noticed her hands had turned hairy, a sure sign she was a werewolf so he shot her with a silver bullet! LOL :D too much Buffy *sighs*

On a serious note is the time of day relevant?

I have to step away for a few hours but I didn't want to leave everyone hanging during that time. I won't give any clues because any clue would just give it away. I will advise you to concentrate on my answers on the last page or so that have been "Yes" or a qualified "No".

Good luck!
*tips hat with a wink*
