The members of Wish on a Star have been wrangling back and forth about what kind of contest we want to sponsor for this holiday season. To date we haven't been able to decide, so at this point, we're doing both (i.e. two separate contests).

My question to you all is, can the community of Sleuth come up with a new type of prize that they want to see posted, or do you all want to go with the traditional Sleuthbucks slash guest membership?

We should have the details of both contests up by the end of the week; please post here or PM any member of Wish if you have any ideas for prizes. Thank you! L

I'm not sure how I feel about this, but it popped into my head so I thought I'd throw it out there....

What about an experience points prize? One of the contest creators goes to the winner's agency or vice versa and gives the winner their cases for the day/week (?). The cases could be RTA or not. Kinda like having a helper for a week. :) Obviously this would only work for subscribed players, so of course a gift sub would still have to be either the whole/part of the prize for an unsub.

I know, I know...RTA cases bad...playing more than your allotted cases bad...
Just an idea! :)

And I assume RTA means something like 'Ready to Answer', or something similar?

You'd have to clear it with the boss, but the easiest way i can see that this would work is either to have whatever winner join the host agency or have the sponsor join the winner's agency for x amount of time. Cases would then be thrown the winner's way, with him having an option to use them or not. I don't think that is against ethics unless you're in a villain hunt competition.

Old timers correct me if i'm wrong!!!

Would something like that work? Not Breit
