Post the meaning and the next person has to post the proverb of the meaning.
Example:
Person1: "We have to work hard!"
Person2: "We have to burn the midnight oil."
Rule: Post the proverb and then post the meaning of another proverb. (Note that you don't have to know the proverb yourself.) You can give some hints if you want.
Ready?
Get set!
GO!
Meaning: "Someone not benefiting himself and not others letting benefit as well."
Hint: It probably contains the words, "dog" and "hay".

I think it is a proverb from the Asian side. It goes like this:
"The dog won't eat the hay himself and even it won't let the cow to eat it".
If anyone knows the English version, please post it.

Meaning: "Not knowing something and criticizing others."

Something along the lines of:

"The dog can't eat hay, but will still keep the cow from it."

Meaning: Don't assume that you'll get what you want until you actually have it.

Hint: It's another barnyard proverb.

Oops, that's what I get for leaving a post up while I do other things.

"Not knowing something and criticizing others." ?
That wouldn't be "The pot's calling the kettle black" would it?
