Okay, I'm a little sad that I sometimes miss out on whole on board shenanigans. It reminds of before I began playing Sleuth and my youthful innocence which was happily kicked to the curb once I finally figured out what a merkin really is.

When I was new I would read the boards enviously watching as Crunchpatty, Biggie, Secret Squirrel, Briet, Lady Jas, Cordelia, cfm, Jojo, Ms. Helen and ctown bandied about. Ahh, and who can forget the Al-Quties?

Look, this gets hashed out regularly about trying to get the new Sleuthers into the community. Most of us here love new faces, (even if they're from the stock avatar), we love banter, we love sleuthing and we love ribbing each other. Most of us don't care if you're subscribed, we want you to be active on the message board no matter how many cases you do in a day.

I'd love it if we had more active players messaging on the boards. Ask questions, make silly suggestions, make serious suggestions, contemplate Squirrel's whiskers. This is Sleuth Talk, not Long In The Tooth Talk or Over 300 Day Old Talk.

You know, back in my day the youngsters had respect for elders like me!

And we didnt have it so easy with solving cases, in fact just to get to the crime scene, we had to walk barefoot.....in 8 feet of snow......uphill......both ways! :-P

And then remember what happened if you left your forensic kit back at the office? *shudders*

Hm....
walking barefoot in 8 feet of snow, uphill both ways?
- well, if you don't have proper equipment, it will sure feel like uphills both ways...

Wonder if it will be possible to invite you to a city in Norway, so that you might be able to try out how it feels walking in 8 feet of snow?...

I wonder what the exhaustion it will give to your character will of consequences? Any good suggestions?

Automatic have to wait for 5 minutes to be able to do the next move in the case solving process? Or, will it cost you $500 to send out a rescue team to come fetch you and treat you so that you will be enabled to do the next move?

You know, I like the idea of paying for a rescue team. Added bonus if it's a Saint Bernard with a mini keg of whisky.

And you'll notice that ctown is Tough and Smart, he probably stared the snow down and made it melt under his glare.

I'm flattered, I dont know if I ever saw ctown and smart in the same sentence before!

Of course I dont pay attention to the small things, being a jenius and all! ;-)

I hope I will be able to invite you all to travel to a city in Norway at the end of the year, and get to know a place of much snow and the need of rescue teams... - perhaps Saint Bernard...? - I will remember that...
Hm... you will probably need a shovel as well, so that you may dig yourself down into safety? - and.... you will of course need to search for some better equipment - making it easier to go around... barefoot is not what I recommend... what you will be looking for will be skies... Remember, we Norwegians are said to be born with skies on...
On the other hand, I would very much like some more thoughts about what it will be like to visit Norway...
- and if there is anybody who would like to help me prepare, don't hesitate to send me a PM... ;-)
