One sentence RP

How it works: It's a regular RP, but the actions must be carried out in one sentence.
Who can participate: Anyone.
Setting: Baker Street Agency (Fictional, I haven't checked if there is one that goes by this name), London
What's going on: We're solving the case of the murder of seven children at one night. There are no bodies, only pictures to prove they're dead.
How to participate: Just post your action.
What counts as a sentence? Whatever finishes with a '.'
That means something like:
"I don't like this", he said.
Counts as ONE sentence, not two.
The game is afoot! =)

"Our status is at the ground" Vulkie said, with a bit of a trembling in her voice,"We still need to hear their names"

"Then it seems we need to find a lot of crucial information in a short time," Molly thought aloud as she leaned in especially close to examine a photograph, "who, where, why...have the police been any help at all Valentina?"

(ah, a monument to every English teachers worst enemy; the run-on sentence. XD)

"Hey, tender...who do I have to kill to get a shot of booze around here..." barked Bane taking a seat at the bar about 10 minutes later..."and speaking of killing...when was the last time you saw this boy?" added him slamming a picture on the counter.

"Yeah, right, the cops have been very helpful, as they love private eyes so much", Valentina said in a sarcastic answer to Molly's question, still looking at the pictures.

Molly aimed a playful look at Valentina as she finished writing, before impatiently scraping a stray lock of brilliant red hair from her face and saying, "Charming, Valentina, is your sparkling wit and verve supposed to cover up for the fact that you don't have the childrens names, or what?"

"But I do have their names, my dear", Valentina said, with her usual straight face, "Adam Jones, Maurice Morrison, Angela Smith, Michael Engels, Mary Ann Darling, Andrew Jamieson and Ella Goodwin", she completed, reciting the names from her memory.

"Touche, well played," Molly said giving a neat curtsy and a smile before clipping over back to pick up her notebook as she said, "should we know about any pertinent connection between these children, or should I go rustle one up from the records?"

"No known connection yet", Valentina admitted, with a tired sigh, running her fingers through her short black hair, "but we'll dig up until we find one, or we're not decent private eyes..."

"Well, having a child of my own," Miss Parr started, "I do not want my name tied to this investigation in any way, which is why I will join Ms. Maltese and stick to the office work on this case."

Anais stood thinking hard-one of the names sounded oh so familiar-when Miss Parr's words penetrated Anais' head; she turned to Miss Parr to ask, "Don't you want to get the monster, make sure he doesn't kill your child or any other child?"
