Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

WEEK #12 Face the Jury- So it's all come down to this, the final week and the final elimination. Here you will face the judgment your former teammates and competitors.

All former contestants who wish to be, are now part of the jury. The two remaining contestants have 24 hours to say whatever they want to convince you to vote for them.

After 24 hours have passed, the jury will vote. You will VOTE FOR THE CONTESTANT THAT YOU WANT TO WIN. So to reiterate, you are not voting to eliminate somebody, but rather to support somebody.

Votes may be private or public. If you wish to make your support known publicly then you may post it in the thread with as little or as much reasoning as you choose. If you wish to keep your vote secret, then you may PM it to me instead.

Good luck tribe! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

Dear fellow Survivor contestants, first off I must say what a wonderful time this has been. Congratulations to everyone on getting as far as they did, and many thanks to Heim for hosting this contest. Heim, despite the hell you put us through at times, and though many of us have threatened to break your kneecaps, it has really been a blast. :D

I think the goal of this contest has been accomplished: drawing in new players, bringing back old ones, and bringing the whole community together.

As to this last task, I cannot really think of much to say about why you should vote for me over Joseph Zeo. I really think we all put our best efforts into this, and are all equally deserving to win. Even though this is a contest, I refuse to say anything bad about my opponent, as that would be going against what I believe in, and most unlike me because JZ is a good friend.

So here goes….

Although I have not been as good as JZ in winning challenges and immunity during these weekly contests, and don’t have that much computer know-how to do some of the wonderful things JZ did, I can say that I really did try my best. I was there and willing to work for any team I was on, offered my help to anyone who needed it, and kept all the promises I made to you all, and played a fair game.

And lastly, I feel that I have to say this: this contest has allowed me to meet and become friends with so many of you, and that is an experience that will last forever, and which I will always treasure. You are all truly wonderful people! :D

Riza really put it together well. Thanks!

It's true. Although it is a contest where we should be at each other's throat, I think friendships old and new had been formed in the process, our limits had tested to promote growth as a person/player, and hey, I'm surprised Heim still have his kneecaps intact!! (Honestly, Heim, what you did / are doing is amazing. Deep appreciations!)

As to who our fellow contestants should vote, we simply leave this in your hand. I must say first though that during my vote in the New City challenge, when the coin landed in favor to keeping Riza in the running THREE times in a row, I think it was meant to be. Riza was deemed a worthy teammate and opponent, and she really put out 200% on all the challenges she had to face.

That said, I guess I must list the reasons why you may want to choose to vote for Joseph Zeo, here again as I may have said to some of you in PM:
-Integrity, Conscientiousness, Wisdom
-Won the last four challenges in a row
-Helpful to newbies and friends in need
-Well-rounded role player, SM writer, hunter and team player

No matter how you vote though, I think it had been a great journey. I'm glad we all have experienced Survivor: Sleuthville together. Continue to sleuth strong! ;) ~JZ

WOW.
Just W.O.W.

I have been reading through all the rounds that have happened since I have been absent and I am completely blown away by the ingenuity, creativity, perseverence and just plain awesomeness of all the contestants involved. And of course my hat goes off to Heimlich for running such an amazing competition and coming up with some truly dastardly and devious and clever challenges.

I am in total awe of all the contestants especially Riza and JZ for making it all the way to the end. It's a really tough choice to make between the two. Riza has style, flair and beautifully long eyelashes, but JZ's name is shorter to type so I really think I'll have to vote for JZ to win.
;)

Sorry Riza.
Go JZ!

My vote will be a public one. I think I owe it to the both of you to know my vote and reasoning behind.

First let me congratulate you both on getting this far -we all know how hard it was with all of us vigorous competitors in it to win! I have enjoyed playing and competing with you both.

JZ, you indeed have been the exemplary player in all of this. No one can deny your skill, talent or investment in this competition, which I believe to be the greatest. Should you win, you will be a very deserving winner.

Riza, you have come this far, as you said, with your own graceful style and in your own beautiful way. You have worked very hard to place in the final two -no one can deny the amount of cases you did in that most horrid challenge earlier in the contest!

Having said that, I am basing my vote on sentiment and emotion rather than any kind logic â€"I’m afraid I've exhausted my lateral thinking and deductive logic abilities in this contest.

My vote goes to my friend, Riza. I have considered her to be a good friend ever since we were teamed together as the Ruthless Role-players and a ruthless role-player she is!

My apologies to Mr. Zeo, though I know many others will be giving you their votes.

*nods politely*

Woohoo! First off, thank you to everyone for all of your kind words both in PM's and on the board. I loved hosting it as much as you loved playing and watching. We have six votes in and no clear winner in sight! We've had quite a season. There have been the players you love, the players you hate to see go, and the players you just plain love to hate! Stay tuned for the conclusion! It promises to be one heck of a reveal!

First off let me reiterate what other have been saying and give out a big thank you to Heim for putting all of this together. The whole experience has been great fun and I am glad to have been a part of it.

This is a very tough decision as both members are equally deserving to win the coveted prize of Sleuth survivor. JZ has been unbelievable in all of his efforts both inside and outside of the Lenape tribe challenges. Has won the immunity challenges countless times and I believe that is why he is still here. That is not to say he would have been voted off due to being a bad player, but due to being a good player and would have met the same fate as Ms Helen and myself.

Riza on the other hand, has fought and battled her way through the entire contest. I have watched Riza grow from the beginning of her career here on Sleuth and blossom into a well known and respected player.

My vote for this competition goes to Riza for the perseverance and dedication that she has put into this contest. No hard feelings to JZ, if I could I would vote for both of you, but we all know that is not possible.

Best of Luck to the both of you as we await the rest of the votes.

First, I want to thank Heim for putting together such a fun, interesting, and mentally challenging contest. I had so much fun being a part of this, and I really can't believe it is over.

If I could, I would vote for everyone. :)

Kyle- I am so glad you were able to subscribe and I hope you are having a ball in your agency.

Tina- I don't know you very well, but I have enjoyed our few conversations, and wish you well.

TK- I'm sorry that you got out so early in the game, because I think you would of been a worthy competitor farther down the challenges.

Vulkie- It was fun having you in Lenape Tribe, and I enjoy writing with you.

Ms Helen- I'm not sure what I can say to you, other than you are awesome, and I hated seeing you go. ;)

ctown- You had lots of great ideas, and were a wonderful teammate and worthy competitor.

miss snopes- I didn't get to know you very well, but I enjoyed reading your intros and I am glad you came back.

Aknas- I loved reading all the praise you got on the Popularity Contest. You are all of what was said then.

Violet Parr- I am honored to have participated in this with you. You are a ledgend on the RP stage, and I always am happy when I see a PM from you in my mail. I hated voting for you.
