Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

*sweeps everyone a low respectful curtsey*

I loved the song and know, Heim, that I would not have missed that particular dance for the world! Not only did I immensely enjoy your wonderful wizard of oz contest, I also made some good friends and gotten to know some of the most talented players of which Sleuth Noir boasts.

I have now been outwitted, outplayed and outlasted… but only by the very best… I wish JZ, Riza and Miss Nin the very best in this most challenging final contest and would like to let them all know that I will be following their every progress and cheering every single one of them on…

And to you, Heim, thanks once more for dragging me out of the shadows and giving me truly the best time I ever had on sleuth ever since the role playing stage first emerged in ’07.

*nods politely*

I must thank Anikka here for helping me edit my way-too-long intro for the previous challenge. As some of you know, I'm terrible with grammar and spelling, and Anikka was kind enough to make sure I didn't make a fool of myself. Deep appreciations for her help. *hugs*

Violet, this was one of the hardest vote I had to cast (most are difficult), but i'm glad we all had fun in the process. You definitely should hang in the sun a bit more. *hands over sunblock*

*really nervous at being in a room with a bunch of really smart folks*

I do not know how many outside of your group (that being the most talented and involved players) have been watching this competition, but for those who do and do not post I would like to acknowledge and congratulate all of the contestants. I was drawn into this thread back in the day when there was a solicitation for endorsements. I tentatively responded. While responding I did a little browsing, and what I found was a community of friendly, welcoming competitors.

I have always enjoyed competition, that is when I was able to appreciate and recognize the skill required, both as a participant and a spectator. Thank you all, for in my curiosity I have discovered a new world. Your talents and personas have opened a multitude of doors exposing desires, excitement, awe, envy, wishful thinking, possibilities, and so much more. In short, I have seen some of the best of the best in Sleuthville and found new ways to repsect and appreciate what has been built here.

Even as I now aspire to, I do not presume to be capable of your expertise. I suspect RL, if nothing else, will corral me. But I am happy to be able to observe and, in some small way, contribute from time to time. And I thank all of you for this blessing.

Alas I have again exposed my prolixity.

Let me simply add one thought. My hat comes off and I salute Heimlich Von Victor. You have superbly orchestrated this competition with welcoming tact, discretion, strategy, imagination and authority. You have spotlighted the best of the participants. And in doing so, you have demonstrated your own prodigious talent. You are, in addition to your title "Story Teller", the "Game Master - Potissimus Optimus".

*really hopes he hasn't made a really big fool of himself, especially after he realizes he really uses some words really often - too often. ... Darn.*

The entries are in, and boy are they something! I wouldn't be surprised to see these cities popping up very soon.

Joseph Zeo's Moscow:

Anais Nin's Cuidad de los Cesares:

Riza Hawkeye's The Sleuthville Express:

For some reason on Riza's entry the conversion didn't take, so here is a picture of what her map should look like:

Judges please let me know your decisions :)

Difficult to choose between those new cities... But each one interests me Judges, make a wise decision ^^ (And Ben, can't we implement all these things? xD)
