Irene, there is a pet that one can get from the Prince - the Parrot.
Yes, we can have more than one pet, I have two cats (Arch Villain Mascot) and one parrot.
Yes, they occupy the Accessory slots.
Hope that give you some ideas. :)

A pet shop would be a great addition. Where else to go to identify all these paw prints.. o_O
Ok, so there is a cat, a parrot and a bloodhound available. I'd say that's plenty of animals in the game already. Or you'll be mixing up the hairs you find on the crime scene with those of your posse. A new skill might be fitting as well:
Feather identification: Gives you a chance to determine if a feather came from a Black and White Feather Hat or a Parrot

The idea for a Pet Shop was actually mentioned quite a while ago by an old-timer named Daru. We had quite a bit of interest in it at that time, too, but nothin' happened with it. (Sorry, Daru.)
As for available animals, currently, we only have the two standard ones--the Bloodhound and the White Parrot. Aknas' cats she got for winning the Arch Villain Hunt Tournament (last year, or this??), and therefore, only SHE has it. (Trust me guys, I've been after Fez Boy about a tiger for YEARS.) :-/
If this is something y'all are interested in, go put it up in the "Looking for Ideas" thing at the top of Sleuth Talk. The more people that show interest, the more likely those Heighly Irregular guys may be to have a look at it.
Just a thought. ;-)
