Alright, now I've gotten into politics and I'm a little nervous at how I should approach this....Who’s "good side" should I get on, and will I get specific benefits from specific sides i.e. getting a good rating with the mob will get me cheaper rates on an agency?

It will not effect the agency rates, but it will effect the your ability to gain and the prices of the special equipment that each faction sells. Each faction also has it's own special skill to learn (LCN's is only good if you are in an agency). You are not so far into your faction that it would be hard to change so you could look around each one. The only other thing is that if you join an agency, sometimes they are looking for a specific faction, but from what I have seen this tends to be a minor issue. I can tell you that DAB sells the ultimate in charm accessories, LCN specializes in tough items, and OS of course smarts. Hope this helps.
