I had 2 suspects left in a IH Favour. Jumanah and Nazihah. The only evidence left to check was a straight hair. I asked the Barber and she said "No this hair isn't Jumanah's" so of course I accused Nazihah and got an FA! The game claims that Jumanah was guilty.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

There are so many things that can contribute to an FA - incorrect note taking, confusing two names, being mistaken about you actually read . . .
According to Ben, it is NEVER game error. :) However, you can submit a bug report and MAYBE he will look into it for you.

One thing you CAN do if you get an FA that you think is an error, is hit your BACK arrow and page back to double-check your facts.

After having gotten more than one FA due to not paying enough attention to what I was doing, I always go back to the "Case" tab and double check the suspect's name and then make sure it says "Fake" by the suspect's alibi when I go to accuse him/her before taking the final step.

Having said all that, let me just say that that sucks. It really sucks, and I'm very sorry about your FA. :(

Thanks Sindy. I did hit the back button just to check that the barber hadn't lied or I had misread it somehow.

A bug report after an FA won't help because they couldn't access the case after it is gone into the wide never never of the server. I guess I will just have to save a load more money now.

Actually you can submit a bug report, and they are able to access the case. Are you positive that you had all four pieces of evidence? It's possible that there was a piece of evidence that you didn't find, and the hair matched to a not guilty suspect.

Well if it ever happens again I will submit a report.

My problem now is finding Shady in Cairo? He seems to have gone into hiding. Or did he never set up an office here?

If you haven't paid off Shady yet then take a trip to Delhi. Delhi's Shady charges 20% less than all the others :)

If you have ever submitted a 'cat ate my homework' PM to Ben, just like me, you will probably find that human error has prevailed somewhere along the line :)

I had convinced myself that I had Pugilism, and that when the Shades of Mystery Upgrade came out I had somehow been stripped of this skill. No, the only thing I had been stripped off were enough grey cells to remember what skills I'd had in the first place.
