It was another rainy foggy night in London, as I walked through the door of the Owl and Walnut. I stood in the doorway to get the chill out of my bones and eyed the patrons of my favorite pub. I could tell that the news of the latest murder victim had everyone scared. The local papers were calling him the new Ripper, Scottland Yard was lost as usual and the only trend that the killer stuck to was the murders were getting more and more gruesome. I had already started looking into the case even before Miss Brandy Marie showed up at my office last night and told me she wanted me to find the psycho who murdered her sister. Its been the longest 24 hours I have ever lived through. And I am no closer to solving the case. I head over to the bar and order my usual 3 fingers of cognac I then head over to my table which is very close to the back. I sit with my back to the wall and watch the door. You learn a few things in this business when you been doing it as long as me and I aint about to get a bullet in the back cause I got careless. I pull out my pack of Lucky Strikes( I have'em sent over from the States.) And my Zippo lighter. I light up take a huge drag and a sip of my drink and try to forget the horrible images I saw today. The bullet hit the wall. Seconds later the bars surrounding the three lifted. Zeo padded Cain on the back and hulled Vulkie up onto his shoulder.

They ran through the underground sewage system. "Which way?" Both men were confused. The anesthetics haven't worn off totally; they felt as if they were running under water. "Let's just get up onto the ground first. We're loosing our bearings in here." They finally found a narrow worn stairwell leading up to a manhole. They pushed away the heavy manhole cover, only to find themselves at the dead end alleyway where Cain first saw the new Ripper. That seemed like ages ago.

From there, the two detectives rushed Vulkie to the hospital. By then, Vulkie was looking very pale….

Darkness......

Total Darkness.....

Could this be the end......?

I was waking up,slowly,with all kinds of tubes in my body.

"Where am I!?!?" I yelled and Zeo woke up from his sleep.

"Good,you're awake. It's been three days Vulkie,since we brought you here. You got internal bleedings and constantly were in a coma. You've got me worried. The doctor even asked me if we had to pull the plug,to let you... go... " Joseph said.

"But you've chosen to let me live. Whatever could happen with me,you've let me live. A great consideration Joseph. A great consideration..." I said and I "armhugged" Joseph.

"So,did we get McAllister? Or did he escape?" I asked.

Charlie came walking in at that moment. "Leopold,Zeo's friend at Scotland Yard,used the whole force to seal of London. They got him after 2 days. He's going to get the noose now,at this moment" Cain said.

"Charlie" I said. "Yes?" Charlie asked. "If I'm going on a new mission,you're in. Now,where's the whiskey?" I said and asked. Joseph began to laugh and Cain showed a bouquet of flowers. "Thanks. That will "flourish" this room up" I said and began to laugh at my own joke.

And that,people,was the story of the "New Ripper". Dr. Shamus McAllister was hung up,his assistant also. Dr. Hubert Smithe was still "curing" people and his uncle Tobi(as) Smith was still running his "cult".

All remained silent in London. Until that one day... Nah,that's a different story for another time.

(off at seal of London). Just a small "addition" xD. I've enjoyed writing with Mr. Cain. I am sure this was his first story and he has developed to a great RP-writer. Hereby,I deputise Mr. Charlie Cain to a true Roleplay-stage writer. A "Good"/"Excellent" RP-writer. May we make more stories.

Also,my thanks goes out to Mr. Joseph Zeo,a familiar face on the RP-stage. He's made this story also thrilling!.
