Good day

I am reasonably new (4 solved, 1 false accusation). So now I have to be very careful with the accusations... The false accusation was in a case that was a favor for the butcher. My footprint analysis pointed to a slim person. There was also no alibi for the falsely accused and I had run out of willing witnesses. So I made a decision... wrongly, but partly due to my footprint analysis.

The analysis said slim but the real murderer was heavy built... how come? What gives...?

Thanks for your help and answers! Really appreciate it!

While solving cases you will always come across evidence that will help u find the guilty and other that will just try to confuse u. In these case the footprint pointed to a man who had a real alibi (when u say no alibi u mean u didn't find it right?) and there was another piece of evidence pointing to the guilty suspect. Always it's better Shades to better quit these sort of cases where u don't know certain if this suspect is the guilty one. I know it's hard and sometimes I don't believe it myself.

Anyway hope this could help u

It looks like you were missing a piece of evidence when you opened up your crime scene. There are four pieces of Physical Evidence (PE) you can find, Foot, Handwriting, Thread and Hair. Unfortunately when you start off you don't have all of them. If I remember correctly you start off with two and you must get the other two with your skill points. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

So, say you have Foot and Handwriting, one or both will show up in your crime scene but not the Thread or Hair. If your suspect does not match your Foot or Handwriting then you're missing one of the other two PEs. So until you have all your basic smart skills you will have to be extra careful before you accuse. Also make sure you have your suspect's false alibi verified! Don't take a guess and accuse because Shady is always nearby ;)
