So what's up with detectives randomly falling in love with their clients and then never seeing them again? I know it's RPG, but can I please decide who my det. does and does not fall in love with?

It is just one of those twists. It will pop up from time to time just like all the other twists, hidden nieces and strange dreams and reporters kidnapped etc. I think it is maybe meant to lull you into a false sense of security that your client couldn't be the guilty party but don't let it fool you. Random chance with that twist.

Ha ha funny. Dude. What is up with my detective. I have two others. One is tough and charming, and I have way easier times getting cases solved. With this detective, no one wants to answer my questions!!!!
