Everyone has suggestions for new things they would like to see in Sleuth. Well, this is a thread for those ideas. Just post a one or two line synopsis of your concept(s), with a small additional informational blurb if two lines is not enough to capture it. Discussions regarding specific ideas will take place in a separate thread, to keep this one running smoothly. Please do not include complaints, critiques, or other discussion on this thread, for purposes of flow. Anything that is not specifically done for the purpose of outlining an idea will be deleted.

All ideas will be considered; even if no discussion thread for them is immediately started, don't lose heart. Ready, get set, post!

One of the things that has always bothered me about Arch Villain Hunts was that you could be affected by factions but the twist makes no mention of the fact that they are interested in the case let alone why they even want to have anything to do with the arch villains.

While it may not have an effect on the way I do my cases, I'm pretty sure that people don't want to have to click on the case tab every time they get a twist. Plus it just doesn't make sense for a detective to just magically know that he's going to be pissing off a faction.

No Nephi an un-moderated forum is not going to happen. You can take that as a direct Admin response to refer back to whenever you feel the desire to use another alt. to pose the question again.

How about if crime lab analysis messages auto-delete after being read? I don't know of anyone who saves them, it would cut down on a load on the server for those who don't bother to delete when they come through, and it could just be coded the same way as agency invites.

A suitcase to travel with. This way you could carry 3 or 4 items with you as you travel.

Another site that I use, http://www.wheresgeorge.com has two tiers of users, much like Sleuth. Paid users and free users. Free users are able to use the site, but paid users get additional benefits.

What Where's George does is after the user had entered 500 bills, the server automatically gives that user a free one month subscription to the paid tier to try out the benefits to see if it's something that the user wants to continue with. At the end of the month, the user goes back to being a free user.

What if we were to implement the same thing on Sleuth? Once a user hits an arbitrary exp number such as 100k or 50k the server gives them a 1 month subscription with all of the benefits. This way users can see for themselves how great subscribing is, and hopefully encourage more members to buy subscriptions and participate.
